Manly Monday with Textures & Frames

G’Day Friends,

It’s been a little while since my last blog post but I have been posting on my FB Page.

It’s Monday which means its Manly Monday where I get to create a project just for the males in our lives.

I received my FREE Textures & Frames Stamp Set the other day & have been dying to bust it open & start playing.  I have lots of lovely creations to share with you this week with this particular Stamp Set.

I’ve used Night of Navy, Merry Merlot & Smokey Slate Inks.  The Cardstock is Very Vanilla, Merry Merlot & Night of Navy.

This Stamp Set calls for some quick & easy cards.  I can also see it creating lots of lovely scrapbook pages.

Beautifully Penned DSP

Thank you for dropping by!

Today is Monday & that means it is time for Manly Monday where I get to share with you a project I’ve created mainly for the fellas.

I’ve used the Beautifully Penned DSP today from Sale-A-Bration & wanted to share that it can be used for both female & male.  Father’s Day is fast approaching in Australia & I wanted to create something for my Dad so that I could get it away in the mail in time for his day.

The leaf has been die cut from Basic Black Cardstock with the Forever Flourishing Dies.  I tied a small bow with White Baker’s Twine before adhering to the stem of the leaf with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment is from Best Year Ever & was stamped onto a piece of Basic White in Evening Evergreen Ink & adhered to the inside the Base Card allowing it to show through the front.

Best Year Ever

This week I want to start a day each week where I will share with you a project created especially for the males.  Some of us have a hard time creating for the male.  I do hope you will join me & enjoy creating along with me.

Today is one that is fairly easy & simple but one that I am more than happy with.  PLUS it uses the FREE DSP from Sale-a-Bration – Peaceful Prints.  Do you recognise it?

A piece of the DSP has been randomly chopped into 3 pieces before being adhered to a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock, then to a piece of Basic White & finally to a Basic Black Base Card.

The sentiment is from Best Year Ever Stamp Set, stamped onto a die cut shape in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, adhered to a Basic Black die cut shape with Adhesive & then adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Both the shapes have been die cut with the fantastic Tasteful Labels Dies.

Male cards do not have to be hard, they can be as simple & easy as you like AND still look lovely.Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Tasteful Touches

G’Day Friends,

Thanks so much for popping in today.  It is very much appreciated.

I thought I would share a card I created sometime ago but one that I hadn’t posted using the lovely Tasteful Touches Stamp Set, along with the In Good Taste DSP & the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  All of which I am so happy are in the current Annual Catalogue.

A piece of Basic White was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, adhered to a layer of Smokey Slate Cardstock & then to a Night of Navy Base Card.

A piece of Basic White was stamped with the feather from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink, a piece of Ribbon (retired) wrapped around the bottom part & a bow tided.  This panel was then adhered to the piece of DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Night of Navy Ink, fussy cut & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
