Happy Birthday

Petal-Passion---Close-Up

I’ve been playing with the Petal Passion DSP over the last couple of days.  All I can say is “WOW”.  Loving it!  I have even managed to create cards for 2 classes using the DSP & the coordinating Stamp Set – Petal Palette.  I’ve used the Watercolour Pencils to colour along with the Stampin’ Blends which is how I’ve coloured today’s card.

I cut a piece of the DSP & randomly colouring the flowers with Calypso Coral, Pink Pirouette & Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Combos.  The leaves were coloured with a Petal-Passion-Colouring---Ilittle Light Daffodil Delight & then with Old Olive Combo.  The background has been coloured in Light Pool Party.  Colouring the background made the flowers seem like they are floating.

Candy Dots were randomly scattered around the card front to finish it off but you could easily replace them with current product, eg Pearl Basic Jewels, Faceted Gems, etc.

Thanks so much for joining me today.  I am participating in the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop for December.  The theme this month is showcasing our favourite DSP.  This can be from the 2017-2018 Annual, 2017 Holiday Catalogue, the new 2018 Occasions Catalogue or the 2018 Sale-a-Bration Brochure.  So many options!
This means you are getting a sneak peek from a couple of the items being made available come the 3rd January 2018 as I went with the fun & bright “Bubbles & Fizz” DSP from SAB & which you can earn free when you spend $AUD90.00 (excluding P&H).
I then decided to team it up with the equally fun & matching Bubble Over Bundle which includes the Bubble Over Stamp Set & the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits.  I think these items are going to be one of my favourites from the Catalogues.Bubble-Over---Inside
I’ve kept the use of my DSP fairly simple as I didn’t want it to be overtaken by the bottles, which have been created by die cutting & sponging with Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight & Basic Grey Inks.  I then spritzed the bottle with water to form “bubbles”.

If you click on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial which includes the product used to create the page plus measurements (metric & imperial).

Thank you so much for stopping by & checking out my project today.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Christmas with Painted Harvest

Painted-Harvest-Christmas--

G’Day Stampers,

I was wide awake at about 3.30am the other morning & this idea sort of popped into my 4-februaryhead, so of course I had to try it out immediately.  I’m happy to say it worked & that I am more than excited that I can now use the set for multiple occasions.  Gotta love it when you can get multiple uses from your products.

I’ve taken the layout for the card from a sketch that I gave to my team sometime ago & thought it would be good to revisit the same sketch but with different supplies.  You can see the original card by clicking here.  I think I’ve hit the mark with this one.  Don’t you?

Painted-Harvest-Christmas-I

The “berries” are from the same stamp set & randomly stamped in Berry Burst.  The Tranquil Tide Ribbon was layered across the top of the Painted Autumn DSP & then the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon (it’s so pretty) across the middle of that.

The stamped wreath was die cut with the circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits before being layered onto a scallop circle die cut from the Layering Circles Framelits.

The sentiment is from the Hearts Come Home set & was stamped direct onto Whisper White in Berry Burst.

The card was layered onto Lemon Lime Twist & then to the Base Card – Tranquil Tide.

G’Day Stampers.
Thanks so much for joining me today.  I am participating for the first time in the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop for September.  The theme this month is “Something Different”.  It could be a fun fold, a shaker card, a spin card or even a technique.

I decided to go with Scrapbooking & share one of my pages we created last week in our Memories & More Scrapbooking Class.  We used the “Pick a Pattern” DSP along with the “Pattern Pieces”,Blender Pens, Stampin’ Write Markers & more to create our page. Pattern Pieces1 (2)

The page could be used for a boy or girl.  In this case, my page is going down to my niece for her son.  Once my page/s have been used for a class I post them off to Bon to add to her albums.  I have been doing this for some time now, she enjoys getting the parcel in the post & I enjoy creating them.

Sometimes, I will add photos & journaling to page, other times Bonnie adds her photos & journaling.  I think the surprise is not knowing what she will receive in the mail but the albums are slowing growing.

If you click on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial which includes the product used to create the page plus measurements (metric & imperial).

Thank you so much for stopping by & checking out my project today.
