Hand-Penned Petals

G’Day Friends,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy, Safe & Heathy 2022!  Thank you so much for all your support during the year.  It has & is always very much appreciated.

Can you believe that the July-December Mini Catalogue is nearly over?  Don’t forget to grab your Last Chance Products before they are gone & gone forever.

Today’s card is one that I created some time ago but never got round to sharing with you.  It has been sitting in my basket but kept getting further & further to the back with more current projects.

I’ve used the lovely Hand-Penned Suite along with the fun Picture This Dies  to create my card.  Included in the Suite is the Hand-Penned  Petals Stamp Set, the Penned Flowers Dies, the gorgeous Hand-Penned DSP & of course the Genial Gems.

I love how you can achieve different looks with the Picture This Dies as all I’ve done is highlight the lovely DSP by die cutting a piece  with the dies & then popping 2 pieces back into the spaces in the Pool Party layer.  Easy Peasy!

The sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White in Highland Heather which has then been die cut with the Picture This Dies.

The flower was stamped in Highland Heather & Mint Macaron Inks onto a scrap of Basic White, die cut with the matching die from the Penned Flowers Dies & popped up to the side of the sentiment shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished it off with a double bow from Basic White Twine which can be found in the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack.

Friends are like Seashells

G’Day Friends.

I do hope you are enjoying your day so far.

I have been playing with the lovely Friends are like Seashells Stamp Set of late & thought I would share a project that I’ve created from bits & pieces left over on my desk.

A piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock has been embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder before randomly being chopped into 6 pieces & then put back together by adhering each piece to a layer of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.  This layer was then adhered to a Crumb Cake Base Card.

The large shell was stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock in Crumb Cake Ink, die cut with the Seaside Seashells Dies before being embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder & adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The seniment was stamped onto scrap Very Vanilla in Real Red Ink, die cut with a die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies & adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I am loving this colour combination – a combination I would never have selected but one I think I will be using again.

It’s always good to get out of your comfort zone, right?

Color & Contour

G’Day Friends,

No, it is not a spelling error, this is the correct name of the Bundle I am showing you today.

I do hope you all had a lovely Christmas & ready for lots of inspiration to see the year out!

December can sometimes be a hard month for some of us – the loss of loved one, family member or friend ill or even a struggling neighbour.

This is where a handmade card can do wonders to pick that person up a little just by knowing that someone is thinking about them.  In fact it can sometimes make a hugedifference without us knowing about it!  It is amazing how these cards just turn up at the right time.Today I am showcasing a card created with the Colour & Contour Bundle for just these occasions.  It will surely put a smile on someone’s face.  Mind you, you are able to chop & change the sentiments to create Birthday Cards, Thinking of You Cards, Get Well, etc.  The list is endless!

The Base Card is Fresh Freesia while the flower is Mango Melody.  The stem & leaves have been stamped in Granny Apple Green Ink.  A colour combination I would not normally go for but hey it is good to step out of your comfort zone which I am trying to do more of.

Be Jolly #3

G’Day Friends,

I have another card to share with you today created with the Be Jolly Stamp Set.

In saying that, this will be my last Christmas card for the year!  Can you believe that the “man” himself will visiting all the little kids AND big kids tonight!

A piece of Basic White Cardstock was embossed down the left side with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder.

3 scored lines were scored down the right side of the embossed area prior to being adhered to a Garden Green Base Card.

The tree was stamped onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured & blended with Stampin’ Blends.  I stamped the sentiment direct onto the same Cardstock in Real Red Ink.

A piece of Real Red Cardstock was die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  The Basic White piece was then adhered to this piece & then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish it off, I randomly scattered Clear Rhinestones to the Basic White Panel.

Don’t forget this cute Be Jolly Stamp Set is on the Last Chance Product List & will be retiring very soon.

Be Jolly #2

G’Day Friends,

I have another card to share with you today again created with the fun Be Jolly Stamp Set.

A piece of Real Red Cardstock was layered onto the front of a Basic Black Base Card.

I cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock into 3 random pieces, stamped the 3 images of Santa, coloured with Stampin’ Blends & adhere to a Garden Green panel.

A layer of Basic White Cardstock was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder prior to adhering the Garden Green panel across the centre with Stampin’ Dimensionals & then to the Base Card.

The sentiment has been stamped onto scrap Basic White in Real Red Ink, trimmed back to size & shape prior to being adhering to the bottom part of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I completed the card by adhering Red Rhinestones to the centre Basic White panel so that Santa looked like he was doing a little juggling!

Don’t forget this cute Be Jolly Stamp Set is on the Last Chance Product List & will be retiring very soon.
