G’Day Friends,

Did you see the new Card Layout over on my FB Page yesterday? If not, this is the Weekly Sketch for this week. They are posted each Monday for you to play along on our FB Pages so be sure to check them out & of course, share your creations with us.

Now, a Card Sketch can be as easy as you like or as hard as you like. I’ve gone for the easy option on this one & very true to the layout too.

The colours are way out of my comfort zone but hey that can be a good thing. I’ve taken the colours from the Inked Botanicals 6 x 6 DSP.

Supplies –

Stamp Set – Inked & Tiled
Ink – Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon
Cardstock – Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral
Embellishments – Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots (Retired)

Countryside Inn DSP #2 | March

Today is my last share created with the March DSP Template?

I hope you’ve been enjoying the projects created from just 1 piece of DSP. I know, I’ve enjoyed sharing them with you. I do hope you have been creating with the DSP Template too. Be on the lookout for our new DSP Template over on my YouTube Channel the 1st week in April.

Again, I’ve used the Countryside Inn DSP for today’s project.

I’ve teamed the papers up with the lovely Darling Details Stamp Set, along with the Darling Details Dies.

Just by changing out the images, it’s amazing how different all the projects turn out.

Artistically Inked | Stampin’ Up!

Thanks so much for popping by. I sure hope you have been enjoying our remakes from March last year that Robbie & myself have been sharing.

Check out the original card. There is a video there too on how I created the card. My take on the original is a little different but the bones are still basically the same.

It’s amazing how we have taken the original & set about recreating that exacy same card to have something completely different just by tweaking a few things here & there. Although colours, products, etc can give them a totally different look hey.

Can I let you in on a little secrect? I meant to use Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Parkty & Starry Sky but grabbed the wrong colours as they were all sitting on my desk together. It wasn’t until I went to put the colours away & looked at the card, I realised what I had done. Oh well, next time.
