I do hope you are all having a lovely weekend & fitting in a little crafting here & there.
Today’s card is one I created especially for my Newsletter Subscribers. I don’t usually share but seeing as though the 2018-2020 In Colourswill be retiring in 2 days time & they have already received the Newsletter, I thought why not.
Some of you may wtill be playing with the colours. Some may not be parting with the colours. I know I am going to miss them but as usual Stampin’ Up! always have others to replace them.
Not only did I use the retiring In Colours, I also teamed them up with the lovely Ornate Style Stamp Set which is one of the new sets in the new Catalogue. “Something old with something new!”

If you saw my post last week, I shared with you a card created for the Beginner Stamper. Well, today is the 2nd card which is aimed at the Casual Stamper.
Again, it is using the lovely First Frost Stamp Set. I am going to miss this set as it has been a great friend to me & one of my “go to” stamp sets. BUT, believe me, there are lots & lots of lovely gorgeous ones beginning June.
Once again, I’ve done a tiny bit of Basic Masking to create my card & introduced a touch of Real Red into the equation. It really pops along with the Night of Navy & Mossy Meadow Inks.

I am sharing with you one of our cards created a couple of weeks ago in one of our classes. The ladies loved the cards. I will be honest & say this card was actually cased from the Annual Catalogue, Page 140. The DSP is the lovely Frosted Floral Specialty & has retired while the stamp set is First Frost! We also teamed the set up with the matching Frosted Bouquet Dies.
The colours for the card have been picked up from the DSP. I also managed to use up the last of the Tranquil Tide Cardstock which I was very proud of myself for doing. Usually I have heaps of the retiring In Colours Cardstock left over but not this year!

My card has been created using Whisper White, Sweet Sugarplum & Mint Macaron CS. I am loving the all White….. My flowers have been created from Whisper White CS, die cut using the Botanical Builder Framelits, & sponged with Sweet Sugarplum Ink & a Sponge Dauber. The leaves are die cut from Mint Macaron CS using the Rose Garden Thinlits. “Congratulations” is from the “Floral Phrases” Stamp Set & is stamped in Sweet Sugarplum.

My card today is one I created for Kathy, a new Downline who signed up about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I decided to create a small gift for her which included a card using some of the lovely product from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Welcome to the team Kathy!
After creating the card I also realised that it went in with one of our challenges. Don’t you love it when that happens?
It’s a simple card but one showcasing the lovely “Falling in Love” DSP, page 51 & the fantastic “That’s the Tag” Bundle which includes “That’s the Tag” Stamp Set & “Timeless Tags” Thinlits, page 23.

I haven’t posted in a little while due to being ill, although not 100% well, I thought I would try & start posting again. There is nothing like the feeling of excitement & sitting down to your craft desk, ready to create & “BLANK”. Luckily, that didn’t happen with this card.
My card today is one I sent to a friend, Naomi who recruited her very 1st recruit a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t post this card until she received it.
I thought the “Lift Me Up” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue was perfect for her card. The Bundle includes the “Lift Me Up” Stamp Set & the “Up & Away” Thinlit Dies. There is also coordinating “Carried Away” DSP in the 2017 SAB Catalogue. Don’t you just love it when SU! make it so easy to create?
To create my card, I watercoloured the bottom part of a piece of Shimmery White with Pear Pizzazz Ink & Aqua Painter. I then did the sky in Soft Sky & Pool Party Inks along with the Aqua Painter.
Once it was dry, I masked off the top part of the sentiment “………… Congratulations” with Sticky Tape, inked the “Congratulations” in Memento Tuxedo Ink, removed the mask & stamped direct onto the coloured card. The card was then layered onto the Base Card – Calypso Coral.
The clouds were stamped onto scraps of Whisper White using Soft Sky Ink before cutting with the coordinating Cloud Thinlit Die by running through the Big Shot. The Balloons were stamped onto scrap Whisper White, the large one in Marina Mist Ink & the smaller one in Calypso Coral Ink. They were then cut using the Thinlit Dies by running through the Big Shot.
Both the Balloons & Clouds were adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
As I have a saying with my team “Onwards & Upwards“, I wanted to include it on the card, so I cut a piece of Whisper White down to the size I wanted, wrote the words with a Project Life Journaling Pen & cut them to size before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
It’s a very simple card but one that I am happy with.
