Manly Monday

G’Day Friends,

I do hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

We had a little much needed rain during the night & by all accounts it could be a wet week but I don’t mind as we need the rain deparately.

It’s Monday & that means Manly Monday.  I have had an idea in my head for sometime but that went out the window  when I saw this card on Pinterest.  Mine is a little different but using still using the Tailored Tag Punch in the same way.

I opted to go for Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Shaded Spruce & Crushed Curry.  They DSP is from the Neutrals 6 x 6 Pack.  The colours are way out of my comfort zone but perfect for the males.

The sentiment is from the Best Year Stamp Set.  I must admit I seem to be using this set more & more all the time – perfect for all occasions! The shapes have been punched with the Tailored Tag Punch.  A little different but I am loving the look of the layering.

To complete the card I tied a small double bow with Linen Thread & adhered it to the Very Vanilla shape with a Mini Glue Dot.

This card could also be used for any occasions including female.  All you have to do is change out the colours & add Ribbon in lieu of the Linen Thread.

Timeless Tropical

G’Day Friends,

To create my card I am sharing with you today is one that was created from a Sketch Layout that we had over in our Customer FB Group a little time ago.  It is a fairly easy layout but one that can have lots of different outcomes.

I started with a piece of DSP from the Pansy Petals DSP.  Yes, I am still playing with it and loving the opposite sides.

Deciding on the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set, of course I had to go for bright & tropical colours – Granny Apple Green for the fronds, Coastal Cabana for the flower & Early Espresso for the trunks & the sentiment.

While wanting to keep a clean look to the project, I decided to randomly adhered our Clear Rhinetsones to the centre of the flower & around the Basic White panel.

I think they finished the card off perfectly, don’t you?

Forever Fern

G’Day Friends,

I’m still trying to play catch up since my blog update.  No too many more to do.

My card is one I did for Many Monday this week & th eone I sent to my Dad who happens to turn 90 this month.  He still rdes his bike, walks for miles each day, goes to the gym every other day, plays 8 Ball & rests on Saturdays as those days are for his races.

The DSP is from the Pansy Petals DSP which I am loving more each time I play with it, especially the reserve sides.  Don’t you love it when our reserve sides can be used for all occasions?

I’ve teamed up the colours of Evening Evergreen, Soft Sea Foam & Very Vanilla Cardstocks.  The sentiment is from the Best Year Stamp Set while the image from Forever Fern Stamp Set was stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock die cut with the matching Forever Flourishing Dies before being adhered to the left side of the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card was finished off with a piece of Very Vanilla Twine which was left over from a Kit yonks ago & sitting around to be used on the perfect project.  I added a couple of 2021-2023 In Colour Evening Evergreen Jewels to complete the card.

Manly Monday & In Good Taste DSP

G’Day Friends,

You may notice over the next few days a repeat of a couple of previous posts.  My blog has been updated meaning that I have lost the last few posts.  Yes, only a couple more posts to redo before I am caught up!

This card was created for our #WCMD2021 Make n Take in our World Card Making Group. You are able to join us if you wish.

I wanted to show how to create a card showing both sides of the very versatile In Good Taste DSP which is my go to Paper especially if I want to create for the males.

I’ve used the matching Tasteful Touches Stamp Set – perfect for both male & female – along with the Tasteful Lables Dies to create the front of my card.

The feather was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Night of Navy Ink fussy cut & adhere to the bottom of the die cut shape.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy Ink too.

The card was completed with a small Basic White bow from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack adhered to the feather & a couple of Pearls randomly adhered to the die cut shape.

This card is perfect for either male or female.

In Bloom

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for dropping in today.  I hope you have had a lovely week!

I had a piece of DSP left over after creating my Dad’s birthday card.  I wanted to see if I could create something for the females with the same piece of DSP I had used on his card.  This lovely piece is from the Pansey Petals DSP.  Isn’t it just gorgeous?

I grabbed the In Bloom Stamp Set off the shelf, only because I haven’t used it for so long.  Then went to the Colour Coach to select a couple of colours.  Now, I will admit this colour combination is way out of my comfort zone but it is growing on me.

The Very Vanilla panel was stamped in Petal Pink, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry & Sahara Sand.  Now are they colours you would normaly choose, but hey that is what my Colour Coach told me, so to stamp we must lol.

The panel was then adhere to a piece of Petal Pink before being placed onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   The sentiment was stamped onto Very Vanilla in Rich Razzleberry, die cut with a shape from the Pierced Blooms Dies before being adhered to th ecentre of the stamped panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flower was die cut with Petal Pink Cardstock with the Pierced Bloom Dies.  The leaf was die cut from Soft Succulent with the same Dies.  I then decided to add a small piece of the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon under the flower for more interest.

Both this Stamp Set  & Dies are fatastic as they have lots of lovely stamps to create great backgrounds while the Dies have lots of little dies to create lots of extra flowers & leaves.
