Painted Blooms DSP

I suddenly realised I hadn’t shared the 2nd part of my project I gave to Naomi.  This is the Notebook which accompanied the Frame (if you click on “Frame” you can see the 1st part of the gift).019ae-blog1

I had a couple of Notebooks sitting on my desk waiting to be covered & decided to use one of them & cover it to match the frame.  This DSP is just so gorgeous & screams to be used in different ways besides creating cards.

Along with the DSP down the spine, I used Soft Sky Card for the front & back covers.  The Ribbon sort of fell off the hook when walking past & to my surprise matched perfectly – non-SU!

I cut a the centre from a piece of Whisper White CS using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits, placed a piece of DSP behind & layered it to a piece of Blushing Bride CS prior to adhering to the front of the Notebook.  I thought doing it this way created a sort of frame for the DSP.019ae-blog

I then decided to add “N” for Naomi & cut her initial from Soft Sky CS using the Little Letters Thinlits, adhered it to Whisper White which I punched with the 1″ Circle Punch & adhered it to a piece of Rose Red CS which had been punched with the 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch prior to adhering to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Of course, I had to finish it off with another Butterfly to match the Frame, so I cut the Butterfly from Soft Sky Card & the Butterfly Thinlits  before adhering to the front with Pearls in the centre.

I think Naomi loved it all.  I know I did.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
