Timeless Tulips #1 by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for visiting today.  I do hope you are ready for a crafty week!

Today is a new week & a brand new Feature of the Week.  This week is all about the sweet Timeless Tulips Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve teamed my card up with the lovely Daffodil Afternoon DSP from 2022 Jan-Feb Sale-a-Bration.  It is a Level 1 & can be yours when spending $90.

Yes, Sale-a-Bration has been extended in the South Pacific until 16 March.  How lucky are we?

These papers actually pair with the lovely Daffodil Daydream Bundle from the January-June Mini Catalogue.  As I don’t have that Bundle, I thought it would be nice to play with “This goes with That” especially if you are like me & don’t have the Bundle.

It’s been awhile, but I actually have a PDF Tutorial for you to download, print, create & keep.

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use March Host Code – 2K3JMJZR –  if your order is under $250.   All orders receive a Handmae Thank You Card.  You will also receive a PDF Tutorial, the March DSP Card Kit  when spending over $50 PLUS & a small gift when spending over $80.  Please note that there is only one small PDF Tutorial, Gift & Kit per customer per month.

900.  Happy Mother’s Day – Timeless TulipsPlease feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping!

A Mother…

I was asked to create something for a Mother’s Day Raffle for a market I attended last Saturday.  After surfing the net for an idea, I saw this card by Ann Craig. Perfect for what I had in mind.  I actually had the colours & Stamp Set “Flower Shop” sitting on my desk from another project – will post at  later date.

I purchased these frames for a couple of wedding jobs, but decided to create a couple of frames for Mother’s Day.  I’ve actually had a couple of requests for them, so it was perfect timing.  These will be posted in the net couple of weeks leading up to & after Mother’s Day.

The “Mother” wording I found on Pinterest & was perfect with what I wanted.  It was printed onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.

I stamped the same piece of Card using Mossy Meadow Ink & the Leaf image from “Kinda Eclectic“.  I randomly stamped an image from the “Gorgeous Grunge” Stamp Set in Hello Honey ink.

The flowers from “Flower Shop” & “Petite Petals” were stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink & punched out with the matching Punches – “Blossom” & “Petite Petals” prior to adhering to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish it off prior to placing back into the frame, I scatted Pearls around the card & to the centres of the flowers.

I’m really happy with the Frame, so I only hope the winner of the raffle is too.  I think they will be happy that it can be used again.

Thank you Ann for your inspiration.

Until next time, Happy Stampin;

Vicky

Mother’s Day…

Using the Mother’s Day Challenge over at Late Night Stampers, I’ve combined SSC # 148 from Stamping 411 – http://stamping411.blogspot.com – to come up with a card suitable for Mother’s Day.
Of course, how can you go past Stampin’ Up!s® “5th Avenue” stamp set for mother’s day, but then that is me!
My Card –
 Supplies –
Stamp Set – 5th Avenue
InkMelon Mambo* Pink Pirouette
Cardstock – Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Embossing FoldersPerfect Polka Dots*

Accessories – Snail Adhesive, Grosgrain Ribbon – Pretty in Pink

 *  Autumn-Winter Mini-Catalogue 2010
I’ve kept the cut out flower from “5th Avenue” very plain, as I didn’t want to take the whole effect away from the background.
For the greeting, I typed “For You” on the pc, printed & then attached using a very thin piece of Whisper White cardstock.
TIP – Cardstock cut into very narrow strips make for a great thread.  Colour co-ordinate and use it for your buttons, labels, etc
Until next time, Enjoy!
