Technique Treats – June

G’day Stampers,

I’m very late with our Treats today – heaps of trouble with my internet but have managed to fix it.  Hope your all survived the weather last night & today.  I think we were on the edge of it although it was fairly heavy.  I think the Bay got most of it.  We even ended up down the beach again this morning much to the delight of Belle.

My winner for our Free Tutorial of their choice is Kathy.  Congratulations Kathy & thank you for your lovely comment.  I will be in touch to see which Tutorial you would like.

Our Techniques this month concentrates on Split Negative (which is traditionally done in5 June - TT black  & white) but we have stepped out of the box this month with our colours.  The 2nd technique is Spotlighting.  Again, a great one to play around & create with.  This month our cards have used the “Traveler” Stamp Set.

As with all Techniques, June will certainly take you out of your comfort zone.  I know they did with me, as they are a little different to what I normally do.

To purchase your Treat this month, head on over to the Technique Page.  If you don’t have PayPal, then please email me to arrange payment via Direct Debit.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

It’s Your Day

I’ve moved & in my new home, but still not able to create at the moment.  Fingers crossed this will change towards the end of the week.

For my card today, I’ve used the Re-Inker Technique & the gorgeous Stamp Set – “Garden in Bloom” & of course the matching “English Garden” DSP.  Actually, this technique was one of our features in our Technique Treats #1 which is still available for purchase by heading over to the Technique Treats Page.

I really love how this card turned out, especially the pretty pink flowers highlighted by the touches of Melon Mambo.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Happy Birthday To You

Today’s post is sort of a case from another I shared 2months ago.  It is also to remind youApril-TT that Technique Treats this month is Sponging & Heat Embossing which we’ve paired up with “Lovey as a Tree“.  Two very easy techniques but 2 with a very big WOW!

I’ve used 2 colours that I would not normally put together & are way out of my comfort zone, but you know what – I am loving them.  Just a small reminder that Hello Honey is one of the In-Colours that will be retiring at the end of the month along with Timeless Textures Stamp Set from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue.  I will be honest with you as I am not a big fan of Hello Honey but each time I use it, especially with Black, I love it!

Anyhow, I would love to hear what you think about my card today.  Don’t forget to click on the link below to grab your free tutorial to create your own card.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Congrats

My card today is one I saw on Pinterest a couple of weeks ago & thought I would give it ago 4 May - TTusing all Stampin’ Up! products.  Thank you Julie for your inspiration.  I love the final result although it is very bright & way out of my comfort zone, but hey that is the great thing about creating & trying new things.

I’ve used Timeless Texture from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue which is due to retire at the end of the month so be quick to get in while you can.  The greeting/sentiment is from Perfect Pairings which was part of SAB 2016 where you could earn it for FREE.

Don’t forget, Sponging & Heat Embossing are our Technique Treats this month, so if you would like to learn how to do these techniques, then pop on over to the Techniques Treats Page to purchase them.  Even if you know how to do the techniques why not refresh your memory.

To create your own card, please click on the link above the photo to grab your free tutorial.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
