No Bones About It

No-Bones-About-It-2---Close

Today’s card is one of the few we created last week in class using the No Bones About It Stamp Set.  We split the class into pairs so that they could work o a couple of different cards.  I don’t usually do classes this way but over the next couple of weeks you will understand why

We actually had 2 lovely kids attend on Friday with their Nana & they loved it.No-Bones-About-It-2---Insid  They even managed to do the Technique we did on our 2nd card – hence the splitting of the class & requested the same technique for today which I am more than happy to do.  Abby even mentioned that this one was a lot harder than the technique one.

I originally got the idea from Pinterest but did change it out a little to suit me.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

If you click on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card.  Don’t have the stamp set?  Then change it out to suit what you have in your stash.

Birthday Blossoms

Birthday-Blossoms---Close-U

A couple of days ago I shared with you the card we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class.  Well, today I thought I would share with you another card I created a few weeks ago with the same fold but using the Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set.

I got my inspiration for the card from Pinterest which had been created by Michelle Birthday-Blossoms---InsideLast.  Thank you Michelle for your inspiration!  I loved the clean lines of her card, along with the touches of pink.

To colour my flowers, I sponged Power Pink Ink over the top with a Stamping Sponge before blending Flirty Flamingo with a Blender Pen beginning from the inner petals & out towards the outer petals.  It picks up the colour yet still keeping them soft.  I added touches of Clear Wink of Stella to bring the Flirty Flamingo out a little more.

If you click on the link below, you will be able to download a Tutorial to create your own card.  It includes products used as well as Septembermeasurements (metric & imperial).

Don’t forget when shopping in my Online Shop to use September’s Host Code to receive a gift from me.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Kylie’s International Highlights

The past month seems to have flown as it is that time when once again I am playing along with Kylie’s International Blog Highlights.

This month the theme is “Teacher’s Gifts“.  I don’t have any need for these gifts, but it is lovely to create something different & be out of your comfort one at the same time.

Not sure of what is Kylie’s International Highlights?   It is where Demonstrators from all around the world take part in a monthly Blog Highlight.  It’s a great way to get to know other Demonstrators & see projects using current Stampin’ Up!® product.

Vote for Me HereWhat is so different about this Blog Highlight?  YOU get to vote for your top 5 favourites.  The top ten will then get to take part in an international blog hop with Kylie & other talented successful demonstrators.

What do I do?  All you have to do is click on the “Vote for Me” photo at the side or head on over to Kylie’s Blog, click on the heart in the top right hand side of the picture.  I’m #5!

My project today is actually one that I created for one of my “Creative Classes” using theDeliightful-Daisy-Post-It-NDelightful Daisy” Suite.  This Suite is my all time favourite from the Annual Catalogue but haven’t really showcased any of the cards I’ve created.  I sometimes remember AFTER I’ve mailed the cards that I hadn’t taken any photos.

I think Post-It Note Holders are always very handy, so while creating my holder, I thought I would do something a little different & turn it into the shape of a “bag”.  The handle has been created using the gorgeous Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon.  Don’t you love it?

Seeing as though the ‘bag” was so cute, I thought it would be lovely to have a matching Delightful-Daisy-Cardcard to go with the gift, so out came the Suite once again.  I’m glad I did, as I am a little happy with the final result.

The gorgeous Petal Burst EF has been used both on the bag & the card – not sure if you can easily see it.  It finished the projects off perfectly.

I am loving the coordinating little “bag” & the card.  I do hope you do too.

Be sure to check out all the other lovely creations when you pop on over to Kylie’s Blog .  Don’t forget to go & vote for the ones you love & leave them a little love!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
