Happy Birthday Gorgeous

One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is being able to pre-order items 20170530_143734blog-close-ufrom the new Catalogue which means my team was able to create swaps using new products.

Today I am sharing with you one of the lovely cards created by Naomi using the gorgeous “Happy Birthday” Bundle which includes the “Happy Birthday Gorgeous” Stamp Set & the matching “Happy Birthday” Thinlits Die.  Don’t you just love it?

The card also features the lovely new “Colour Theory” DSP Stack.  I can see this stack being very popular with everyone.

It’s Your Day” has been Heat Embossed using the Whisper White Emboss Powder.

Be sure to check below to see the list of supplies to create this card.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

2017-2019 In Colours

Let me introduce you to the brand new 2017-2019 In Colours.

Fresh Fig,  Berry Burst,  Powder Pink,  Lemon Lime Twist & Tranquil Tide

Don’t you just love the names?  Stampin’ Up! give our colours such fun names.20170520_134040blog

To create my Bookmarks, I used my Aqua Painter & applied the appropriate ink to colour.  The small leaf is from the Jar of Love Stamp Set & was stamped over the colourwash direct onto the Whisper White Card.  I stamped the small flower from the same set onto scrap Whisper White Card, die cut with the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits & adhered to the Bookmark.  A small Rhinestone was added to the centre of the each flower.

To complete the Bookmark, I punched the top using the Scalloped Tag Punch & threaded a piece of the 1/2″ Finely Woven Tranquil Tide Ribbon.

I know which will be my new favourite In Colours?  Do you have one yet?

RAK #2

Last week I showed you one of the cards I had created for the Random Act of Kindness group I belong to.  You too can join.  All you have to do is click on the link below & request to join.  You don’t have to be a SU! Demonstrator.

It is basically the same as my card here (pictured) except for a few slight changes.20170514_072532blog

To create this card, I layered a piece of “Blooms & Bliss” DSP onto a piece of Island Indigo Card & then to a Mint Macaron (retiring) Base Card.

The stem from “Wild About Flowers” was stamped in Mint Macaron Ink (retiring) onto a piece of Whisper White Card, while the flowers are Island Indigo.  The Card was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits & layered onto a Whisper White scallop circle which has been die cut with the Layering Circles Framelits, run through the Big Shot & then adhered to the left hand side of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

20170514_072625blogThe sentiment from “Teeny Tiny Sentiments” was stamped onto scrap Whisper White Card in Island Indigo Ink, cut down to size, banner shape cut in the right hand end & adhered to Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete my card, I tied a small bow using Island Indigo Baker’s Twine (retired), added Rhinestones to the flower centres & randomly scattered them around the card.

I’m happy to say the receiver loved her card.

Random Act of Kindness May Card

 RAK

Who doesn’t love receiving happy mail?  I know I do!  It is such a change to the bills we all hate receiving.  I now hop out to collect the mail in anticipation of whether or not I will receive a RAK card.  Mind you, I am just more than happy sending them off knowing that I may be putting a smile on someone’s face for the day than receiving.
You opt in each month as to whether or not you would like to be part of the group & then you randomly select a few people from the group who are participating for the month to send off a RAK card to.  It is amazing to see how it brightens someone’s day!
I’ve made it a goal to send out no less than 2 per week.  Not only does it give me great enjoyment creating the card but knowing that it may put a smile on someone’s face at the end of a long day.
My card today was created for one of my May RAK’s.  No, they don’t have to be all different.  I don’t have a tutorial for you today as I posted them off before I did one.
I layered a piece of “Blooms & Bliss” DSP (retiring) to a piece of Whisper White Card & then to the Base Card – Island Indigo.20170514_072551
I stamped the stem image from the “Wild About Flowers” Stamp Set onto a piece of Whisper White Card in Mint Macaron Ink (retiring & will be very sad to see this colour go) & then stamped the flowers in Island Indigo Ink before die cutting with the oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
A piece of Mint Macaron Card was die cut using the scallop oval from the same set, adhered to the stamped oval & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ DImensionals.
The sentiment is from “Teeny Tiny Sentiments” Stamp Set, stamped onto scrap Whisper White Card in Island Indigo Ink, punched with the Classic Label Punch & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To complete my card, I tied a small bow using Whisper White Baker’s Twine (retired), attached it to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot & scattered Rhinestones to the centre of the flowers, randomly around the Card Front & to the greeting.
I was really happy with this card so fingers crossed the receiver is too.
Would you like to receive one of my cards?  All you have to do is click on the link below & ask to join.  No, you don’t have to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
