Today’s post is one we created in class when the Brushos first come out in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. Can you believe that it is just about that time again? It’s been teamed with the gorgeous Beautiful Day Stamp Set.
The Butterfly was heat embossed with the Silver Emboss Powder before the Brushoswere applied.

I am sharing with you a card we created sometime ago in one of our Friday classes using the Stamparatus. The class was actually divided into 2 groups with each group creating a different card. At the end of the class both groups had created the 2 cards.

Today I am playing along with a challenge over at Sunday Stamps. The challenge this week is “Pops of Pink“. As I’ve been playing with the gorgeous “Painted with Love” Specialty DSP ” it was the perfect choice.
I’ve kept my layout fairly simple so that I could showcase the beautiful paper as well as the flower from the “Beautiful Day” Stamp Set.
The sentiment is from the same set & was stamped direct onto the Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black. I’ve used both Pink Pirouette & RichRazzleberry Stampin’ Blends Combos to colour my flower while the leaf has been coloured with Old Olive & Daffodil Delight.
To lift the flower away from the DSP, I added a small amount of Gold Metallic Thread which I think ties it altogether. To finish it off I added a little touch of Clear Wink of Stella to the petals.
If you click on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own card. The tutorials includes measurements (metric & imperial) along with a list of supplies used to create the card.
Thank you ladies for a great challenge. Do pop along to Sunday Stamps to check out all the other lovely creations.
If you remember I shared with you a couple of cards created using the flower from the lovely Beautiful Day Stamp Set now available in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. Well today, I am sharing the remaining couple of cards created using the same set but this time round I’ve used the gorgeous butterfly.
Card #1 – I stamped the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink direct onto the Note Card. I then stamped a 2nd butterfly onto scrap Whisper White & coloured with theStampin’ Blends – Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight & Night of Navy. It is a little bright but I think the Pink tones it down a little. The butterfly was fussy cut & adhered over the stamped butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the wings to pop them up a little.
I applied Basic Pack 2 Washi Tape down the left hand side & across the bottom of the card.
To finish the card I randomly scattered Pearl Basic Jewels.
Card #2 – Has been created exactly the same way except I’ve randomly stamped the small group of flowers in Pool Party, used the Basic Pack 3 Washi Tape down the left hand side & along the bottom.
The butterfly has been coloured with the Stampin’ Blends – Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Calypso Coral. Not as bright as the first card but I’m happy with it just the same.
Again it was fussy cut before adhering over the stamped butterfly on the Note Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the wings to pop them a little. Pearl Basic Jewels were randomly scattered around the card to finish it off.
