G’Day stampers,

Sometimes I wonder where the time goes as yesterday sort of crept by without realizing it, so today I have 2 posts for you although you may have to check back later on in the Flirty-Flowers---Inside day to see the 2nd one.

As it is Tuesday, I thought I would share with you our 2nd card we created in one of our Creative Cards classes a few months ago – Dragging/Swiping Technique. I love this technique especially when no 2 cards will ever be the same.

We created our card using the Flirty Flowers Stamp Set (retiring & will miss this cute set) but changed the layout out & the colours. Amazing how the 2 cards are totally different. You can see the 1st card created by clicking here.

It’s Tuesday & that means I have another Technique to share with you.

A couple of weeks ago in our Creative Class we played with the Dragging/Swiping Technique using the gorgeous little set Flirty Flowers. This set is just perfect for this technique. Click on the Technique Page to download your Technique Tutorial.

To create my panel, I dragged Crumb Cake & Sahara Sand down a piece of Whisper White stamping the silhouette flower direct over the inks. I love the look of the panel as it come up looking a little like wood, don’t you think?

Flirty Flowers

G’Day Stampers,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend & did heaps of creating!

Today’s card has been re-created from one I did a month or so ago & have never shared with you. It is a simple little card but one that I am happy with. I am not sure whether it is the colours or the cute little Flirty Flowers Stamp Set.

To create today’s card I’ve used the brand new Stampin’ Blends which will be available to everyone 1 November. Believe me, you will want them in your collection. They are just wonderful!

I randomly stamped the images direct onto a piece of Whisper White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before proceeding to colour the main flowers with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The larger leaves have been coloured with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, but very light while the smaller ones I’ve left as they are.

For some of the smaller flowers I’ve used my Blender Pen & Melon Mambo Ink. For some reason I love Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo together especially when you add touches of Basic Black which is what I layered the Whisper White onto before layering onto a Daffodil Delight Base Card.

The sentiment is from Bunch of Blossoms & has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.
