Stampin’ Up! Silly Goose Colour Combinations #1

G’Day Friends,

What did you think of the colour combination of last week?  If you missed them, click on these links to check them out – Card #1, Card #2, Card #3.

This week it was my turn to select the colours so I went for Starry Sky, Blackberry Bliss & Lemon Lime Twist.  Colours that are way out of my comforzt zone so who knows where we will end up by the end of the week lol.

I wonder what Robbie has created with these colours?  Click on the link to find out.

I love the Silly Goose Stamp Set but I will admit that it is one that hasn’t really seen ink.  So to really challenge me, I decided to let it see the light of day & create a card for you.  What do you think?

The paper is Starry Sky from the 2023-2025 In Colour DSP 6 x 6 Pack.  I love the designs on these papers.

The balloon was coloured with Clear Wink of Stella along with the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker.  You could aways use Ink to colour too.

The bottom of the little feet were masked off prior to stamping the grass twice with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination #3

G’Day Friends,

I hope you have enjoyed our Colour Combination this week.  I know I’ve enjoyed creating with these colours.  They are a little different especially with the Pretty Peacock although the Fresh Freesia & Pool Party tone it done a little.

Click on the link to see what Robbie has created with this Colour Combination.

Again, I’ve gone with the Petal Park Stamp Set along with the Petal Park Builder Punch.  This time round, I also used the Sentimental Park Stamp Set for the flower & sentiment images.

Well after a bit of a false start, I think we managed to create a pretty card for someone’s birthday, but you be the judge of that. The flowers were ones I had left over from my prvious projects.  To create them, I stamped 2 lots  – 1 lot with Pool Party Ink & the 2nd lot with Fresh Freesia Ink prior to punching with the Petal Park Builder Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination #2

G’Day Friends,

Today is our 2nd share for our October Colour Combination.

Be sure to click on the link to see what Robbie has created with the Pretty, Peacock, Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Colour Combination.

I decided to stick with the lovely Petal Park Stamp Set along with the matching Petal Park Builder Punch for today’s card.  In fact, it is the Product Highlight for this week & all my projects feature this set.

I wasn’t too sure where I was heading with my card today but knew that I wanted to keep it clean & simple while at the same time showcasing the lovely colour combination & of course using the fantiastic new Deckled Circles Dies.  I love theses Dies. The Basic White circle has been once again die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies.  The sentiment is from the new So Sincere Stamp Set & was stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination

G’Day Friends,

It’s a new month which means Robbie & myself have a new theme where we’re playing with Colour Combinations.

Now, I will admit that I love playing with colour combos but when put on the spot, I think my mind goes into panic mode.

Click on this link to check out what Robbie has created with the Pretty, Peacock, Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Colour Combination.

I wasn’t too sure where I was gonna start with my card except that I wanted to use something that has been sitting on my shelf neglected.  Out come the Petal Park Stamp Set along with the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.

I then decided to emboss the Basic White with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to add even more dimenion.  Then while creating the card, I had a light bulb moment to add small splatters of Pretty Peacock with the Pretty Peacock Stampn’ Write Marker. The Basic White circle has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies.  This set of Dies are fantastic & can see myself using them for more & more projects.  They would be just perfect for scrapbooking too.

By clicking on the link below, you are able to download a FREE PDF Tutorial.  It includes the Supply List to create the card along with Measurements – A4 Imperial & Metric PLUS Letter Size.

Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk DSP WOW Version

G’Day Friends,

Can you believe that this is our last Sketch Layout?  Where did that month go?

If you have enjoyed our Sketch Layouts & inspiration for them, be sure to look out for our announcement about the Paper Creations Academy coming in the next week or 2.  YOU will be the first to know.

Don’t forget to click on the link to check out what Robbie has created..

I’ve again used a piece of the lovely Garden Walk 6 x 6 DSP for my card today.  In fact, I’ve used the 1 piece for all 3 cards.  Don’t you love it when you can do that?

Again, I’ve created with one of my favourites – Nature’s Prints Stamp Set along with the matching Natural Prints Dies.

The fern leaf was inked with Pecan Pie Ink, prior to Pretty Peacock Ink being randomly added to the image with a Sponge Dauber.  These little devils are small but boy do they pack a punch!  They give a real WOW to your projects.

The fern was then die cut with the matching die prior to being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To complete the card, I added a small Linen Thread Bow to the stem & randomly scattered 3 x Pecan Pie Opaque Dots.
