Across the Waves Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you & welcome to our monthly Across the Waves Blog Hop.  May is all about flowers & boy are there some lovely product in the new Annual Catalogue featuring flowers.

You may be starting with me or have come from Christy’s blog where she shared her lovely project.  Don’t forget you can visit all the other blogs on today’s hop by clicking on the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.

I’ve been playing with the lovely Design a Daydream DSP from the new Catalogue.  It can be yours too when spending $250 or over.  I am loving the colours in these papers.  Looking at my card today, I’ve just realised that the image I’ve used is very close to the image in the Art Gallery Stamp Set which is what I’ve used to create my card.

I’ve teamed the paper with Old Olive, Blackberry Bliss & Petal Pink.

The 1/8″ Cottom Ribbon Combo Pack from the current Mini Catalogue is perfect for this project.

I’ve finished it off with the Pearls Basic Jewels.

Go To Greetings

G’Day Friends.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Today, I have a “bits & pieces” project to share with you.  It is one that I’ve created with a a little this & a little that rejected from other projects.  Now, in saying that it wasn’t because I didn’t like them, they just didn’t go with the final project or looked a little out of place.

I will also admit that I am not good at going back using up bits & pieces.  With me, they either get used for that particular project or they end up in the bin!

The paper is from the now retired Waves of the Ocean DSP while the leaf is from Palms Dies & die cut with Granny Apple Green.

The daisy has been punched with the Medium Daisy Punch from Basic White Cardstock, sponged with Pacific Point Ink & a Sponge Dauber.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – May 2022

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for joining me today.  Once again I am joining Kylie & Bruno’s  Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop although it has been a couple of months!

We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and to reach goals we have set ourselves.  Your support is really appreciated.

You may be starting here – Vicky Wright – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.  By clicking on the links, you are sure not to miss out on lots of inspiration for your next project.

As these will be my customer Thank You cards, I wanted to keep my card fairly simple while at the same time create a bit of a WOW.  I then went for Friends are Like Seashells Stamp Set along with the matching Seashells 3D Embossing Folder & the Seaside Seashells Dies.  Try saying all that fast – I had a lot of trouble typing it lol.

Tahitian Tide really jumps out at you so to tone it down a little, I daubed Pacific Point Ink onto an image with a Sponge Dauber prior to stamping it.  It come out a little darker than the Tahitian Tide but toned down from the real colour of Pacific Point.

The sentiment is from the lovely Sending Smiles Stamp Set while the die cut shape is from the matching Sending Dies.  I can see myself using these a lot throughout the year.

The card has been finished off with a couple of Opal Rounds randomly adhered to the Front.
