I’ve been playing with oh so cute Hippest Hippos from Sale-a-Bration.  They really are the cutest little hippos ever & just had to share!

 As this hop is all about our customer Thank You cards I wanted to use these cute hippos to create something fun & cute for my customers, although can we have really have Blackberry Bliss Hippos?

Inspirations in Ink July Blog Hop

Our theme this month is Christmas in July.  This is the chance to make a start on your Christmas cards ready to post the end of November, early Decemeber.

As our July Mega PDF Tutorial Bundle is all about the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite, I challenged myself to create a Christmas card with this Collection.  In fact, after doing this one, lots of ideas have popped into my mind so who knows you could be seeing more Christmas cards with this Suite or even mixed with a little of this & a little of that.

I decided to keep my layout fairly simple with a little random stamping with Sahara Sand & Soft Sea Foam Inks.  This layer was then layered onto Sahara Sand & the to a Soft Sea Foam Base Card.

The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts, stamped wth Sahara Sand Ink before being die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I’m still playing with the Splendid Day Suite Collection so thought I would continue with the theme with this blog hop.  As this hop is all about our customer Thank You cards I wanted to do something special while at the same time, keeping them simple.

I wanted to use something different for the sentiment on the cards, so I went with the sentiments in the Stamp Set – perfect for lots of occasions.  I am loving the soft colours of Soft Sea Foam & Pool Party in ths Suite.

The card has been finished off with a couple of the lovely Brushed Metallic Dots.

Kylie’s International Blog Highlights

G’Day Friends,

Today I am hopping along with Kylie’s International Blog Hop for July.  This is a hop where Demonstrators from all around the world chose to take part highlighting all our lovely product.  If this is the first time visiting my blog, thank you so much for dropping by.

Thank You is our theme for the hop.  Many of us don’t take the time to thank the ones we love or care about.  It can be the simple things that they do for us each day or big things that they have done recently.  It is so important to say thank you and show our appreciation for the hard work of others and the kindness that they show.

I love creating this type of card & posting them off in the mail or leaving them in my neighbours letterboxes.  Do you know of anyone you can this type of card to?  I’m sure they would appreciate it.

I’ve been playing with the gorgeous Splendid Day Suite from the new Mini & wow, are you going to love creating with it too!   It’s simply stunning & perfect for all occasions.

At first the main image was stamped onto Basic White but after putting the card together I decided it needed a little something else as it was too flat.  I then stamped the same image onto scrap Basic White, coloured & blended with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Combo, finishing off with the Clear Wink of Stella.

After die cutting the image with the Splendid Stems Dies, it was adhered over the top of the original image with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Much better I think.

The sentiment is from one of my favourites – Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.  Not only is it perfect for all occasions but the font seems to suit all cards.
