The paper is from the Brights 6 x 6 Pack, adhered to a layer of Basic White which was then embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

July Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to our July Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop.  Thank you for dropping by.

This month our focus is all about the lovely Inked & Tiled Bundle which is Page 94 of the Annual Catalogue.

You may be starting with me – Vicky Wright, Australia – or you may have come from another blog.  Either way, I hope you enjoy our projects we have to share with you today.

I’ve kept my card fairly simple today as I wanted the focus to be on the stamp from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set.  Isn’t it just gorgeous?

To create my card, a piece of the Inked Botanicals DSP was adhered to a Thick Very Vanilla Base Card.  The image has been coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers.  The stem & leaves are Lost Lagoon while the flowers are Calypso Coral.

The sentiment is from the same set & stamped direct onto Very Vanilla with Lost Lagoon Ink.  It was die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.  To break the tone on tone, a small stitched Lost Lagoon banner was die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies prior to being adhered behind the Very Vanilla circle & popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish it off, a couple of Basic Pearls, which I haven’t used for so long were randomly adhered to the stamped panel.  A small bow was tied with a piece of Linen Thread & adhered to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.

I do hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Thanks again for dropping by.

Stampin’ Up! In Colours Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to our Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop for April.

This month our focus is on the new 2023-2025 In Colours.  They are rich, they are regal & you will love them!  Oh wait, there’s more!  We’re teaming the colours with a carrying over Stamp Set which in my case is the Sentimental Park Stamp Set.  The more I play with this set, the more I am loving it.

You may be starting with me – Vicky Wright, Australia – or you may have come from another blog.  Either way, I hope you enjoy our projects we have to share with you today.

As usual when I start playing with a new set, bundle, colour, etc I tend to go simple & easy.   Oh hell, all my cards are that anyway lol.  I find that doing it this way, I get the feel for the product & ideas & inspiration will start popping into my head.  I also stuck to the 1 colour & that was Moody Mauve.

Check out that lovely Granny Apple Green stem.  Isn’t it striking & don’t you think it brings the card to life?  I wasn’t too sure, but I think it works now.

The Textured Ribbon is just gorgeous & beautiful to work with.  To highlight it more, it’s been adhered to a piece of Basic White Cardstock with just a little of the Basic White poking out along the top & bottom.

To recreate your own version, click on the link to download your PDF Tutorial.

Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for stopping by & welcome to our Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop for March.

Each month we focus on a particular Bundle from either the current Mini or Annual Catalogue.  Well, this month is a little different as we are featuring different Colouring Techniques.  The Colouring Techniques will also feature in our Inspirations in Ink Tutorial Bundle, which you won’t want to miss out on.  Believe me, the projects are simply gorgeous.

You may be starting with me – Vicky Wright, Australia – or you may have come from another blog.  Either way, I hope you enjoy our projects we have to share with you today.

I chose to showcase our great Sponge Daubers.  I love these little things especially the way they change an image with a little bit of ink & WOW, you have a hit on your hands.

Now, I would have to say that the cute little Sea Turtle Stamp Set from the January-April Mini Catalogue is just perfect for this technique.  No thinking of what to use lol.  This set screams Sponge Daubers.

The images have been randomly stamped onto Basic White Cardstock with Pool Party, Real Red & Evening Evergreen Inks.

The turtles have been inked with Pool Party Ink with Garden Green Ink randomly daubed with a Sponge Dauber.

The Base Card is Grey Granite Cardstock.

Don’t forget if you are stamping more than one image, clean the stamp in between the stamping & daubing of ink or you may ruin your Ink Pads.  I always ink with the lighter colours & daub with the darker colour.

Wanna see how I used the Sponge Daubers, click below to view the video.

I do hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Thanks again for dropping by.

Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for stopping by & welcome to our Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop.

Each month we focus on a particular Bundle from either the current Mini or Annual Catalogue.  March is all about the fun Playing in the Rain Bundle, Page 90 of the 2023 January-April Mini Catalogue.

You may be starting with me – Vicky Wright, Australia – or you may have come from another blog.  Either way, I hope you enjoy our projects we have to share with you today.

I’m having so much fun playing with this Bundle but of course there is the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper along with the Raindrops Embossing Folder & the Loose Daisy Embellishments,  all of which make up the Rain or Shine Suite Collection.

I love the little kite in the Dies.  It reminds me of when we were kids & use to go out to the hills on a Sunday morning with Dad.  Of course, we would spend Saturday arvo making our kites first, which would then turn into a contest to see whose kite would actually fly!!!!!!

See the spatters on the Basic White Cardstock?  They’ve been creaqted with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Write Marker by randomly splattering the colour around.

Look at that happy little face?  What a cutie?  Not a care in the world dancing & running around flying her kite in the rain.  She’s actually been die cut from a piece of the lovely DSP with the Playing in the Rain Dies before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I do hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Thanks again for dropping by.
