Rococo Rose #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is Day #3 of Robbie & myself showcasing the lovely Rococo Rose which is part of the 2019-2021 In Colours.

It is also one I created for our class last week where we played with a little bit of folding the Paper Bloom DSP to create a skirt & added it to our card.

The background was embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder – one of my favourites – prior to adding it to a piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock.

The flower has been die cut with the Pierced Blooms Dies & die cut with Merry Merlot before being added to the Card Front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  The centre was die cut from a scrap of Basic White with the same dies.  The leaf is Mint Macaron & die cut once again with the same dies.

The sentiment is from the Under the Umbrella Stamp Set.

No bling on my card today & not much stamping either.  I wanted to keep it simple so that the DSP skirt was the star of the show.

A Touch of Ink #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is Day #3 of showcasing the lovely Level 2, A Touch of Ink Stamp Set which can be yours when spending $180 or more BUT only while Sale-a-Bration is happening – ends 28 February!

I hope you’ve been enjoying my cards this week with the lovely Rococo Rose?  I know I’ve enjoyed creating them.  Of course it is one of the colours retiring this year so if you love this colour, best to purchase it now!

This time round I’ve pulled out the Decorative Masks to create my background.  It is very soft which gives the whole card a very soft effect, don’t you think?

A Touch of Ink is a 2-step stamping Stamp Set which is what I did for my flower.  The outline is in Rococo Rose while the solid image is Blushing Bride but I stamped off first onto scrap paper before filling in the outline.

Flower & Field DSP – Day 4

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for  dropping by today.  It is so very much appreciated.  I do hope you are enjoying this week’s creations with the lovely Flower & Field DSP.

Not only have I been showcasing the DSP but I’ve been playing with the lovely Happy Thoughts Stamp Set.  It is perfect for all occasions!

I cut a piece of DSP into 2’s & adhered both pieces side by side down a piece of Basic White Cardstock before adding Bumblebee Ribbon down the join the DSP.  This panel was then adhered to a Cherry Cobbler Base Card.

The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White in Bumblebee Ink, die cut with the Layering Ovals Die & adhered to a Bumblebee scallop oval which had been die cut with the same Dies but a size bigger.

I finished the card off with adding a small bow with a Mini Glue Dot a& adding a couple of Rhinestones to the sentiment shape.

Flower & Field DSP – Day 2

G’Day Friends,

Today’s card is yet another showcasing the gorgeous Flower & Field DSP, Level 1 of Sale-a-Bration.

Once again it is a simple card but one that lets the DSP shine.

The DSP panel is the opposite side of the floral piece of DSP.  They match in so well, don’t you think?

The sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set which is in the Jan-Jun Mini.  Stamped in Flirty Flamingo & punched out with the Timeless Label Punch.

A bow was tied with the lovely Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon & adhered to the bottom of the punched shape with a Mini Glue Dot.

Once again, NO Bling!  2 Days in a row lol.

Flower & Field DSP – Day 1

G’Day Friends,

I hope you have been enjoying my projects showcasing some of the gorgeous Product available while Sale-a-Bration is happening?

Once again Robbie & I are sharing our #simplestamping creations over on our FB Pages so if you haven’t visited our pages, be sure to do so.

This week it is the gorgeous Flower & Field DSP, Level 1 to be the star of the show.

It’s a simple card but one that lets the DSP shine.  The one thing I love about this DSP is it does all the work for you.  Who doesn’t love that?

A piece of Just Jade Cardstock has been layered onto a Basic Black Base Card.  The DSP was chopped into 2’s & layered onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.  It is showcasing the opposite side of the DSP.  Don’t you love it?  The bottom bit is perfect to create a male card too.

The Ribbon is the gorgeous Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue.  Oh, how I love this Ribbon & really have to stop myself from using it.

The sentiment is from the In Bloom Stamp Set which is in the Jan-Jun Mini.  The bottom part of the sentiment was tapped off with Sticky Tape!

A small bow was tied with the same Ribbon & added to the side of the sentiment.

Have you noticed that there is NO Bling on the card.  I know, right!
