A Little Lace

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for popping by today.

Today’s card has been taken from one I saw on Pinterest by Annette Elliot.  I just loved the colours & the simple layout, although I have changed mine a little as you do.  Thank you Annette for your inspiration.

I’ve used the sweet “A Little Lace” Stamp Set & one that I am wondering why I haven’t played with more as I am loving it.  I can see a few more projects coming with this set.

Did you know the Medium Daisy Punch fits the large daisy in this set?  Isn’t that fantastic?Did you notice I’ve used 4 of the retiring 2019-2021 In ColoursTerracotta Tile, Purple Posy Cardstocks, Purple Posy & Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends plus Pretty Peacock Ink?  Oh not to mention the Terracotta Tile Butterfly Gems to complete my card.

Both the Classic Label Punch (one of my favourite Punches) & the Layering Ovals Dies are retiring too.  Check them out in the Last Chance Product List.

Actually, I’ve used a lot of retiring products to create my card today as I’ve just realised the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder is on the list too!

This or That – Rooted in Nature

G’Day Friends,

Thanks so much for dropping by today!  It’s been a little while since my last post but hopefully I will be more consistent with the posting.

Over on my FB Page & in my VIP Group, I posted a This or That photo with 2 different Stamp Sets, asking which one they would like to see projects created for.  Rooted in Nature was the clear winner BUT that is not to say that I won’t be sharing projects for Sailing Home!

Today’s share is a simple one created with a very simple masking technique.

The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set & was stamped in Night of Navy.

Purple Posy Day #2

G’Day Friends,

Thanks so much for dropping by today!

It’s Day 2 of showcasing the lovely soft 2019-2021 In Colour of Purple Posy.

When creating with this colour, I find it hard to go past the fun Playing with Patterns DSP.  I also love the cute little Moving Along Stamp Set which I used  Monday as well.  I think they are made for each other but I will let you decide on that one.

I cut a strip of DSP, adhered it to a piece of Basic white Cardstock before wrapping a piece of Night of Navy Ribbon down the edge of the DSP.  This Ribbon is from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.

The layer of Basic White was then adhered to a piece of Night of Navy before being adhered to the Purple Posy Base Card.

I stamped the little chopper onto scrap Basic White in Night of Navy Ink, coloured & blended with the Purple Posy Stampin’ Blend Combo before die cutting a circle with the Layering Circles Dies.  I cut a scallop circle from Night of Navy with the same dies.

These pieces were adhered together prior to adhering to Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy Ink, punched with the Classic Label Punch & adhered to the left side of Card Front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In my photo I finished the card off with Night of Navy Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones but have since changed them out to the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots of Purple Posy which softened the whole look of the card more.

Purple Posy Day #1

G’Day Friends,

It’s a new week which means a new 2019-2021 In ColourPurple Posy is the star of the show this week!

I knew immediately what I wanted to use to create my card today & that was the fun Playing with Patterns DSP.  I’ve teamed it up with the fun Moving Along Stamp Set.  A match made in heaven or so I think, but you be the judge.

A piece of Basic White was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder before being adhered to a Purple Posy Base Card.

I randomly stamped the little outline car image direct onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock in Highland Heather Ink.  I then decided to highlight one of the cars, so I stamped the solid car image into one of the outline images.  This set is a 2 step stamping set!  Have I mentioned how much fun this stamp set is lol!

The stitched rectangle has been die cut from Magenta Madness with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

This panel was adhered to the left of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Blackberry Bliss, punched with the Classic Label Punch & adhered to the lower right of the Card Front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card I decided to add a couple of Clear Rhinestones.

Seaside Spray Day 3

G’Day Friends,

This is my last day of showcasing the  Seaside Spray In Colour.  It is one of my very favourite colours.

For our card today, I’ve teamed up Seaside Spray with the lovey Daisy Lane Stamp Set along with the gorgeous Scallop Linen Ribbon.

As I loved the colour combination from my post on Thursday, I thought I would sort of go along the same lines again but this time I’ve teamed it up with Sahara Sand.

A piece of Sahara Sand was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, adhered to a piece of Basic White, Ribbon placed along the top of the embossed Cardstock & then adhered to the Seaside Spray Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set & was stamped on a piece of Basic White Cardstock in Seaside Spray.  The stem was stamped to the left of the sentiment in Sahara Sand, adhered to a layer of Blushing Bride before being adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the large daisy twice, the medium daisy twice in Seaside Spray, punched with the Daisy & Medium Daisy Punches, adhered onto each other so that the petals were all off centre & adhered to the top of the stem with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I then tied a small knot from the same Ribbon & adhered it to the centre of the daisy with a Mini Glue Dot.  The card was completed with the lovely little Seaside Spray Butterfly Gems.

My card today was actually created with family members in mind & has already gone off in the post.

Thank you for joining me this week.  It is always very much appreciated.
