First Frost – Casual

G’Day Stampers,

If you saw my post last week, I shared with you a card created for the Beginner Stamper. First-Frost-4---Inside Well, today is the 2nd card which is aimed at the Casual Stamper.

Again, it is using the lovely First Frost Stamp Set. I am going to miss this set as it has been a great friend to me & one of my “go to” stamp sets. BUT, believe me, there are lots & lots of lovely gorgeous ones beginning June.

Once again, I’ve done a tiny bit of Basic Masking to create my card & introduced a touch of Real Red into the equation. It really pops along with the Night of Navy & Mossy Meadow Inks.

For today’s card I took my inspiration from Page 13 of the 1st Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Use these Brochures & Catalogues for inspiration & to your advantage. They are choc full of ideas.

I am loving this cute little stamp set of Thoughtful Blooms which is Level 1 of Sale-A-Bration while the Small Bloom Punch is Level 2.

First Frost – Congratulations

G’Day Stampers,

I am sharing with you one of our cards created a couple of weeks ago in one of our classes. The ladies loved the cards. I will be honest & say this card was actually cased from the Annual Catalogue, Page 140. The DSP is the lovely Frosted Floral Specialty & has First Frost 1 - Inside retired while the stamp set is First Frost! We also teamed the set up with the matching Frosted Bouquet Dies.

The colours for the card have been picked up from the DSP. I also managed to use up the last of the Tranquil Tide Cardstock which I was very proud of myself for doing. Usually I have heaps of the retiring In Colours Cardstock left over but not this year!

My post today is one I did for a challenge but forgot to post AND I actually forgot the challenge it was meant for but thought I would share Petal-Passion---Powder-Pink with you anyway. Does that ever happen to you?

As I’m a little hooked on the Petal Passion DSP from the 2018 Occasion Catalogue & I had a half finished project on my desk, I decided to continue with it & see what it ends up like. I teamed the DSP with the coordinating Petal Palette Stamp Set along with Powder Pin CS & Stampin’ Blends of Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry & Pink Pirouette.

Once again our theme is “Love”.

My card is one I’ve sort of been working on for a couple of days not knowing how to finish it or where to go & just sitting on my desk. Does that ever happen to you? Sunshine-Wishes---Inside

The background has been created by wetting a piece of Shimmery White CS with an Aqua Painter & then adding Bermuda Bay & Daffodil Delight Re-Inkers, still with a wet Aqua Painter. I love watching the colours flow.

The heart is from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits,while the flowers are from Jar of Love while the sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set.
