Seas the Day

G’Day Friends,

It’s Wednesday which means Robbie & myself are hopping Across the Waves with a Mini Blog Hop.

This is where we get to share 2 projects created with a nominated Stamp Set or Bundle.

Throughout March we wil be sharing projects created with the gorgeous Seas the Day Bundle.  It’s from the current January-June Mini Catalogue.

I will be honest & say that this Bundle has been sitting on my shelf since my pre-order BUT now that I’ve had a play, I can see myself playing lots over the next few days & weeks.  The images & dies are to “die” for.

You may recognise my card from the Catalogue, as I decided to case the card on P38 but with my own spin on things.

There is a lot of sponging going on with my card but nevertheless, I am happy with it all.  It may look a lot but believe me, it didn’t take long at all.  In fact, I am thinking seriously of creating a video in the next couple of days on how I’ve actually created it, so stay tuned.

Edit – This is the video created to show how I created my card.

Stamp Set – Seas the Day

Flowing Flowers #2

G’Day Friends,

Today is my 2nd day featuring the lovely Flowing Flowers Stamp Set which is my  Feature of the Week.

It is one of our Add-On Classes for our March Stamp Camp which has been created Robbie from Creations in Papers.  Believe me she has a great class in store for you with this lovely Stamp Set.

Register for Option 1, Class & PDF Tutorial by clicking on this LINK.

I’ll be honest & say I created this for a challenge but then completely forgot to post it!  I seem to do that a lot.  Do you?

I love our fantastic Blending Brushes so this was the perfect time to dig them out & do a little blending.

As I wanted to keep in line with the sketch, I’ve kept my card fairly clean & simple so that the flower could be the star of the show.  I then decided to pop it a little with a touch of Just Jade Ink for the Sentiment.  What do you think?

The sentiment is from the lovely Special Moments Stamp Set which is Level 2 from Sale-a-Bration & could be yours too when spending $180AUD.

Supplies –

Stamp Set – Flowing Flowers, Special Moments

Inks – Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Just Jade

Cardstock – Grey Granite, Bsaic White

Colouring Tool – Blending Brush

Dies – Layering Circles

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use February’s Host Code – Y7CPFNKQ –  if your order is under $250.   All orders receive a Handmae Thank You Card.  You will also receive a PDF Tutorial, the February DSP Card Kit  when spending over $50 PLUS & a small gift when spending over $80.  Please note that there is only one small PDF Tutorial, Gift & Kit per customer per month.

Many Messages

G’Day Friends,

You may notice over the next few days a repeat of a couple of previous posts.  My blog has been updated meaning that I have lost the last few posts.

My card I am sharing with you today is one that I created for a Take 5 Challenge over in our World Card Making Group where we had to create a project with Soft Succulent Card Base, Smokey Slate Cardstock, Blending Brush, Die Cut or Stencil & the lovely Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon.

I created my card with the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks where I blended Soft Succulent Ink over a piece of Basic White Cardstock with Soft Succulent Ink & a Blending Brush.

This piece of cardstock was layered onto Smokey Slate prior to a piece of the lovely Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon adhered across the front & then layered onto the Soft Succulent Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White, die cut with a die from the Messages Dies & adhere to the right side of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To comple the card Soft Succulent In Colour Jewels were randomly adhered to the front.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping!
