Whale Done Sweet & Simple Online Class – #3

G’Day Friends,

I’m happy to say that Card#3 is now live for you to view.

This class is aimed at the Beginner Stamper stepping you through the process of starting with a basic card & stepping them up just a little each week.   You all know I love #simplestamping & lately I’ve found myself going back to what I love, which makes me happy so I hope it makes you happy too.

We’ve played with our Blending Brushes this week by blending a small amount of ink onto a panel, leaving the middle with a little white space & then stamping over the top.  A very effecive technique & one that I love.

If you would like the PDF Tutorial for this class, you can purchase it HERE.  You have until the 31 March to do so.  All 4 projects with the video links are included in the Tutorial along with a List of Supplies for all projects, Measurements in A4 Metric & Imperial AND Letter Sizes plus Step by Step Instructions.

Click on the video below to see how our card today was created.

If you live in Australia, don’t forget to use the March Host Code – RJ7X3CEY -if your order is under $250.  Valid from 1 – 31 March.

  1.  Place an order & receive a Handmade Card
  2. Place a $50 order to receive a Handmade Card & an exclusive Playing in the Rain Inspirations in Ink PDF Tutorial
  3. Place a $250 order to receive all the above PLUS your own Host Rewards

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for a little crafting?  Well, I have a little inspiration that may help you on your way.

My inspiration for my card actually came from Page 77 of the current Mini Catalogue but I took our Sketch Layout from last Sunday & used that as well.  You can see that layout by clicking HERE.  It also includes the Measurements for A4 – Metric & Imperial.  If you click the link to Robbie’s card, she will have her measurements in Letter Size.

The background has been created with our Artistic Mix Dcorative Masks & a Blending Brush.  In saying that you could easily omit this part if you wanted.

The flowers & sentiment are from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, coloured with Stampin’ Blends & punched with the coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch.

Be sure to watch the video to see how I created my card today.

If you live in Australia, click on the photo below to purchase this Bundle.  Don’t forget to use the February Host Code –3UNWDYWV – if your order is under $250.  Valid from 1 – 28 February.

  2. Place a $50 order to receive a Handmade Card & an exclusive Seaside Bay Inspirations in Ink PDF Tutorial

Texture Chic Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

I thought I would share with you another card I created using the sketch Layout from Week 1 of Caseing the Mini Catalogue with Robbie.

This Sketch Layout was taken from Page 12 of the January-April Mini Catalogue.

You can see the original project, measurements – imperial & metric – by clicking HERE.

I created this card for the female.  The original was created for the males.

The DSP layer was adhered to a piece of Basic White Cardstock prior to being adhered to a Petal Pink Base Card.

To create the background on the Basic White panel, I used one of the masks from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, Petal Pink Ink & a Blending Brush.  I am loving the soft effect, don’t you?

Look at the lovely rich Gold Distressed Paper!  It goes so well with the whole Collection.

The shells are from the Season of Chic Stamp Set, stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Soft Suede & Pool Party Inks prior to die cutting with the die from the Chic Dies.  The sentiment is from the same Stamp Set & stamped with Soft Suede Ink.

Here is a video on how the original card was created.

If you live in Australia, click on the Host Code Link to shop in my Online Store.  Don’t forget to use the February Host Code –3UNWDYWV – if your order is under $250.  Valid from 1 – 28 February.

Caseing the Mini Catalogue

G’Day Friends,

Did you see our #acardadayinjanuary on our FB Pages last month?  It was all about Birthday Cards!

Well, once again, Robbie & myself are teaming up again each Sunday during February to bring you a month of Caseing the current Mini Catalogue.  Now, neither of us knows what the other is using on their project as all we have is the Sketch Layout we have created to match the card we are caseing.

Our first Sketch Layout has been taken from Page 12 of the January-April Mini Catalogue.

If you use Letter size, then head over to Robbie’s Blog to grab her measurements – bearing in mind, they may be a completely style card to mine – while here I will have the Letter Size – Metric & Imeperial – for my project.

To download your preferred layout, all you have to do is click on the images, save to your PC or print on A5 paper & save in your Sketch Layout Folder to use over & over again.

To create my card I decided to dig out the lovely Season of Chic Bundle.  So of course I had to use the coordinating Texture Chic Papers.  Of course, feel free to use what you have in your stash.

See the panel?  I’ve sponged a small amount of Soft Succulent Ink with a Blending Brush to create the background.

The gold leaf was die cut with the die from the Chic Dies with Gold Distress Paper.  Love this paper!

Be sure to watch the video to find out!

I hope you have enjoyed my take on our 1st Sketch Layout this week.  Be sure to visit Robbie’s blog to find out what she created from the Sketch.

Don’t forget to join us again next Sunday for another fun Case from the Mini Catalogue.

If you live in Australia, click on the photo below to purchase this Bundle.  Don’t forget to use the January Host Code –HUXS7CUZ – if your order is under $250.

You can see the 1st sample I shared by clicking HERE.

When I do my lives, instead of creating 2 or 3 cards the same I like to create 1 live & then share a 2nd version & step you through it on how it was created & the colours that weere used.

A Decorative Mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks was placed over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to blending Fresh Freesia Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

The colours used on today’s card are Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla & Smokey Slate Cardstock.  The Garden Green Twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack.

Once again, the flowers were fussy cut fom a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP before being adhered onto a Vellum die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals The Vellum circle was then adhered to the card front with Adhesive.

To see how I created this card, click on this link to watch the video

Favored Flowers DSP by Stampin’ Up!

I have another card to share with you created from the  Level 1, Favored Flowers DSP from 2023 Sale-a-Bration.

Earn the papers FREE when spending $90 or more in my Online Store up to 28 February.

Today’s card is one we created in a FB Live a little time ago but am only just getting around to sharing.  It is also one that was cased from Page 11 of the 2023 Sale-a-Bration Brouchure.

Sometimes we look at inspiration from our Catalogues & think we can’t recreate the projects as we don’t have the same product.  Well, let me say that you don’t need the same product as this proves that you can use what you have in your stash.

I’ve placed a Decorative Mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to blending Petal Pink Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

The Pumpkin Pie Twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack which I think adds more interest to the whole card.  The flowers were fussy cut fom a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP before being adhered onto a Vellum die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals The Vellum circle was then adhered to the card front with Adhesive.

If you live in Australia, click on the photo below to purchase this Bundle.  Don’t forget to use the January Host Code –HUXS7CUZ – if your order is under $250.

Party Puffins

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for dropping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

Last night we did a bit of Mystery Stamping which turned into a comedy sketch & ended up so confused that I think I will be redoing the video.  I think if I ended up confused so I know you will be too lol, so no video today!  In saying that, this is what happens when you go live!

I wanted to play a little with the fun Design a Daydream DSP which is available as a Host Reward & can be yours when spending $250 & over.  I will be honest & say, I think I am a little hooked with it!

Although I had a little bit of an idea of the layout, I wasn’t too sure about the rest of it.  My card sort of evolved as I went along.  I’m fairly happy with it though.

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Click on this link to shop in my Online Store.  Don’t forget to use May Host Code – W79TXART –  if your order is under $250.

  • All orders receive a Handmade Card.
  • Orders over $50 receive a Handmade Card plus an exclusive Inspirations in Ink PDF Tutorial.
