G’Day Stampers,

I am sharing with you one of the cards we created in our class last Friday where we played with the gorgeous Amazing You Stamp Set. You are able to earn this set for Free when spending $90AUD while Sale-A-Bration is on. I’ve teamed it up with the gorgeous Petal Passion DSP which is from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. It is also one of the cards Amazing-You-Daffodil-Deligh we created in our Creative Class a couple of weeks ago.

The flower has been stamped onto a piece of Whisper White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Another flower was stamped onto scrap Whisper White, coloured using the Watercolour Pencils & Blender Pen. It was then fussy cut before being adhered to the top of the stamped flower.

G’Day Stampers,

The start of the new year brings with it my very first card for a challenge. It also gave me a chance to put together a piece of CS sitting on my desk waiting to be made into something. This piece was one of the very first pieces I had created when playing with the new Brushos. IT was too good to toss out.

I am playing along with the challenge over at Global Design Project where the we have to CASE (copy & share everything) the Designer. This time round is the very talented Epic-Celebrations Krista Frattin who just happens to be on the Team. Thank you Krista for your inspiration.

As the background reminded me something from the 60’s & 70’s I decided to use the Epic Celebrations Stamp Set which you can earn FREE while Sale-A-Bration is happening. Love this cute little set.

Along with the background I decided that I was going to use the guitar from the set but wanted to cut in 1 piece so I used the Inlaid Die Cut Technique – I think that is what it is called.

This is one of the cards we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class last Friday. The ladies loved it – simple but with a bit of a WOW when you open it, as it has a Pop Up Gift Card Holder inside. We actually created one similar to this one a couple of years ago in our Technique Class. It is always good to revisit older creations & revamp them. Mind you, with the DSP we used on our card, you could use it for any occasion – just omit Santa, the trees & change out the sentiment.

Be Merry DSP is from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue while the stamp set “Hearts Come Home” is from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. The stamp set is also available in a Bundle.

I’ve been quite on my blog for a little – family stuff going on but hopefully I can find my creative side once again & get back into my regular blogging.

To begin with, I cased a sketch from a challenge, didn’t get it posted in time but thought I would share it with you anyhow. It is a very simple card but one I hope will inspire you. I’ve kept lots of white on the card as I wanted the colours to be the WOW factor. Bunch-of-Blossoms-1---Insid In fact, the card could be used for a number of occasions.

I’ve used the lovely “Bunch of Blossoms” Stamp Set along with the corresponding Blossom Builder Punch. I wanted to create something bright & happy which is why I’ve used Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Inks. As I wanted lots of white to highlight the colours, I opted for Chocolate Chip & Whisper White CS – love these colours together.

Half Full

G’Day Stampers,

My card today is one we are creating in Cards @ Toogoom today using the Half Full Stamp Set which is available in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. It took me a little time to grab this one as I wasn’t too sure if I would like it or not BUT I LOVE it! In fact I know quite a few ladies that would just love this set & card….. Fingers crossed the ladies today do too.

I actually took my inspiration from a card I saw on Pinterest but made it my own, sort Half-Full-1---Inside of! Thank you so much Amanda for your inspiration.

The Whisper White is actually Shimmery White & has been embossed using the Holly EF before being layered onto a piece of Pool Party CS & then to the Base Card – Sahara Sand. As I am a lover of non-traditional colours for Christmas, I am actually loving these colours together & may have to play more with them. Pink Pirouette & Sahara Sand also spring to mind.
