Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination

G’Day Friends,

It’s a new month which means Robbie & myself have a new theme where we’re playing with Colour Combinations.

Now, I will admit that I love playing with colour combos but when put on the spot, I think my mind goes into panic mode.

I wasn’t too sure where I was gonna start with my card except that I wanted to use something that has been sitting on my shelf neglected. Out come the Petal Park Stamp Set along with the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.

I then decided to emboss the Basic White with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to add even more dimenion. Then while creating the card, I had a light bulb moment to add small splatters of Pretty Peacock with the Pretty Peacock Stampn’ Write Marker.The Basic White circle has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. This set of Dies are fantastic & can see myself using them for more & more projects. They would be just perfect for scrapbooking too.

Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments for the Males

G’Day Friends,

August is with us & that means Robbie & I are showcasing & sharing something different this month. August is all about the Males! Some of us have a hard time ceating for the males, while others of us find it easy.

Me? Well, I tend to keep any cards very easy & clean. I don’t like to go overboard or to put too much “stuff” on my cards.

Be sure to check out what Robbie has created today for her card.

I’ve used the Glorious Gingham DSP 6 x 6 to create my card along with Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy & Azure Afternoon Cardstock.

The sentiment is from the fantastic Charming Sentiments Stamp Set – perfect set for all occasions. Once I had decided it was for a birthday, I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy Ink direct onto Basic White Cardstock prior to adhering to a layer of Night of Navy.

To complete the card 3 x stars were die from Azure Afternoon Cardstock with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. I thought it would be a little different than using our gorgeous Emblellishments. I am loving the stars at the bottom corner of the card front.

Clean & Simple Christmas Card with Brightest Glow

G’Day Friends,

Today I have a very clean & simple Christmas card to share with you. Sometimes these card just what we need. They can easily be recreated in a matter of minutes too.

Wonder what Robbie has created today to share with you.

I’ve had a bit of an idea forming in my head for some time & when I saw the stars in the Bright & Beautiful DSP 6 x 6 along with the stars in the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. I wanted to see if the idea would work on paper.

Go through your collection with a new set of eyes & see what you can use together. It’s always a good feeling when you know you can create with bits & pieces from our collection.

Of course, the Brightest Glow Stamp Set to the rescue again today. This set hasa so many different sentiments that I’m not sure what I’ve late to the party in purchasing it.
