Friends are like Seashells – Day 5

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for popping by today!  It is always very much appreciated.

It’s Day 5 of the Feature of the Week!  Thank you so much for your emails saying how happy you are with this returning.

This week has all been about the lovely Friends are like Seashells from the Annual Catalogue & one of my favourites.

These are the cards we created in our FB Live the other day where we played with a 6 x 6 DSP One Sheet Wonder.  It was an easy layout but one with lots of variations.  I’ve only created 3 projects but as I’ve said, the list is endless.

I’ve used Starry Sky Cardstock for the Base Cards on all cards along with a layer of Basic White.  The only change on all cards are the images & colours!  The images have been stamped in Highland Heather, Mango Melody, Old Olive Inks while the sentiments were all stamped in Starry sky Ink.  A piece of the lovely Metallic Woven Starry Sky Ribbon were added along with the gorgeous Iridescent Rhinestones – oh how I love these Rhinestones!

Friends are like Seashells

GDay Friends,

Thank you so much for popping by today!  It is always very much appreciated.

Today sees the return of my Feature of the Week.  I’m happy to say that it is returning with one of my favourite Stamp Sets from the Annual Catalogue – Friends are like Seashells.

This is one I’ve cased from Pinterest & of course now I can’t find it to give credit to the creator.  If you recognise it, please let me know.

It’s been yonks since I’ve played with my Water Painters so when I saw this lovely card I thought it the perfect timing to dig them out & play around a little.

The colours I’ve used for the background are Bermuda Bay & Soft Suede.  I think I also mixed a little Crumb Cake there too.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – May 2022

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for joining me today.  Once again I am joining Kylie & Bruno’s  Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop although it has been a couple of months!

We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and to reach goals we have set ourselves.  Your support is really appreciated.

You may be starting here – Vicky Wright – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.  By clicking on the links, you are sure not to miss out on lots of inspiration for your next project.

As these will be my customer Thank You cards, I wanted to keep my card fairly simple while at the same time create a bit of a WOW.  I then went for Friends are Like Seashells Stamp Set along with the matching Seashells 3D Embossing Folder & the Seaside Seashells Dies.  Try saying all that fast – I had a lot of trouble typing it lol.

Tahitian Tide really jumps out at you so to tone it down a little, I daubed Pacific Point Ink onto an image with a Sponge Dauber prior to stamping it.  It come out a little darker than the Tahitian Tide but toned down from the real colour of Pacific Point.

The sentiment is from the lovely Sending Smiles Stamp Set while the die cut shape is from the matching Sending Dies.  I can see myself using these a lot throughout the year.

The card has been finished off with a couple of Opal Rounds randomly adhered to the Front.

I do hope you have enjoyed what Robbie & I have shared with you over the last few months.  Thank you so much for your lovely comments on my FB Page.  It’s always so appreciated.

For the month of April, we are showcasing the lovely Oceanfront Stamp Set.  You need this set in your collection, believe me!

This set makes it so easy to create lovely projects with minimum supplies & effort!

Belle & I were out & about early on our walk this morning.  In fact, it was still dark when we left home, but by the time we hit the beach, I was struck with the most amazing sunrise with the sun just starting to appear.  Can I just say, most days the sunrise is amazing but some more so than others.

As I sat down to create my card, I knew I wanted to try & capture the image into my card.  I think I have!

The circle was die cut with the Layering Circles Dies before being embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  To create the scene, the images were stamped onto a piece of Bsaic White Cardstock before being adhered to the back of the circle.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.
