In our Stamp & Create FB Live yesterday we created a very non-tradional Christmas Card with the lovely Peaceful Deer Stamp Set. For those of you that know me, you will know that this type of card is right up my alley.

The colours are Parakeet Party, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Poppy Parade & Garden Green. Colours way out of my comfort zone, but hey that can be a good thing, right!

I had a couple of left over die shapes from a FB Live & thought one of the pieces perfect to create my customer cards with for this month. The shape is from the lovely Harvest Dies & has been cut from Grey Granite Cardstock.

September Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop for September! Where does the time go?

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing our love of Stampin’ Up! You are free to join us if you like, but we do ask that you be a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

September is about Autumn or Spring depending on which part of the world you live in. Here in the South Pacific we are entering Spring. The birds are chirping, the flowers are full of live & it is raining cats & dogs!

You may have arrived from Cheryl’s blog where she shared her lovely creation. If you are starting from my blog, all you have to do is click on the Blog Roll below in case you get lost!

When I laid eyes on the Cheerful Basket Stamp Set, a few ideas immediately popped into my head. One of which is this. I’m not sure if I’ve carried it off but I’m happy with the end result.

A little masking, a little colouring with the fabulous Stampin’ Blends along with a pop of colour in Tahitian Tide & of course, Clear Wink of Stella & I think it shouts spring. What do you think?

To tone down the Tahitian Tide colours, I decided to layer the Basic White layer onto Petal Pink & then to a Crumb Cake Base Card.

It was finished off with a couple of Petal Pink Elegant Faceted Gems.

Wonderful World Bundle

A couple of months ago, we played arouned with a Fun Fold for one of our Mystery Stamping sessions.

I wanted to highlight the lovely Wonderful World Bundle which included the DSP & the coordinating Stamp Set.

The flowers were stamped with Fresh Freesia Ink prior to daubing a little of Rich Razzleberry Ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber. Don’t they look so lovely & soft?

Look at that pretty belly band? Of course, you have to have matchy matchy, right? So I added a small piece of the lovely DSP to to the inside too.

Kylie’s International Blog Highlights – September

It can be the simple things that they do for us each day or big things that they have done recently. I love creating this type of card & posting them off in the mail or leaving them in my neighbours letterboxes. Do you know of anyone you can this?type of card to? I’m sure they would appreciate it.
