Season of Chic Christmas

G’Day Friends,

I hope you have been enjoying our #christmasinjuly this month.  I know I’ve really enjoyed sharing our projects with you although some of them have really gotten me out of my comfort zone.

Be sure to head on over to see what Robbie has done today.

I’ve been wanting to play with the Season of Chic Stamp Set for a little while now & thought this thie perfect time to do so.

Once again, the colours are not your tradition reds & greens but more the beachy feel without the beach!  Does that make sense?

Yep, the Brightest Glow Stamp Set to the rescue.  I am loving this set so much with all it’s lovely sentiments.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – May 2023

G’Day Friends,

I’m once again joining Kylie & Bruno’s  Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Training Blog Hop.

You may be starting here – Vicky Wright – or have come from another blog, welcome!  There is a Blog Roll at the bottom of this post.  By clicking on the links, you are sure not to miss out on lots of inspiration for your next project.

This week my focus is on the Tropical Leaf Bundle available in the Exclusives Online Shop.  It is such a fun Bundle with lots of possibilities.

My customer Thank You cards for May have all been created with the fun Bright & Beautiful DSP along with the Tropical Leaf Bundle.  I love the font & sentiments in this set too.  The die cut shape is from the Something Fancy Dies.

The embossed Basic White layer really pops the Lemon Lime Twist against the touches of Night of Navy & Azure Afternoon Base Card.

To add a touch of interest, the larger leaf was inked with Lemon Lime Twist Ink before Night of Navy Ink was randomly applied with a Sponge Dauber.

The card was finished off with 3 x Iridescent Rhinestones randomly adhered to the DSP panel & smaller leaf.

As mentioned previously this is a blog hop, so be sure to check out all the inspirations on today’s hop by clicking on the links below.  Don’t forget to leave a little love too as I’m sure the would appreciate it.

If you live in Australia, don’t forget to use the May Host Code – AJHF7J9N  – if your order is under $250.  Valid from 1 – 31 May 2023.

  1.  Place an order to receive a Handmade Card & Card Kit

Card Candy with Tropical Leaf Bundle

G’Day Friends,

Well, we’re already onto Week 2 of our Card Candy shares.  I sure hope we’ve given you lots of ideas & inspiration to try it & create your own.

During May, both Robbie & myself are sharing different ways of creating Card Candy/Embellishments for your card projects.  If you are a scrapbooker, then these will suit you too as they are perfect for your pages.  Be sure to pop on over to check out what Robbie has created.

For my Card Candy today, I went straight to the Tropical Leaf Bundle which can be found in the Online Exclusives Shop.  I decided that I wanted to create for the males today so went with colours that I would not normally head for – Copper Clay, Old Olive & Blueberry Bushell.

I must admit I am liking the combination.  The Basic White Cardstock was embossed with my favourite Embossing Folder from the Basics 3D Pack which is also available in the Online Exclusives Shop too.

Have you played with this Bundle yet?

Don’t forget to head on over to Robbie’s blog to see what she has created.

May Stamp n Hop Blog Hop with Cheerful Daisies

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop for May where we are showcasing New Product from the new Annual Catalogue.

If you are a current SU! Demonstrator & would like to join us, please do.  Click HERE to join our group.  We’re from all over the world & love to share our love of Stampin’ Up!

There are just the 2 of us hopping this month so a very quick & easy one to hop along.  If you have just come from Mo‘s blog, welcome.

Have you seen the gorgeous new Cheerful Daisies Bundle?  I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves daisies.  If so, then this Bundle is for YOU!

Now, I will be honest & say that this is wasn’t I started out to do but hey that happens.  In saying that I am happy with the final look.

The flowers were randomly stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with Crushed Curry Ink, coloured with the Daffodil Delight Watercolour Pencil before the image was highlighted with the Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker.

The stems & leaves are Mossy Meadow Ink, the spatters with Night of Navy Ink while the sentiment & flower centres are with Copper Clay Ink.  Much to my surprise I am loving this colour.

A small bow was tied with the Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon prior to being adhered to the bottom of the stitched Very Vanilla circle.  The card was finished off by randomly adhering 3 x Gold Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

To purchase the supplies to create your own card, click on the photo or HERE.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Next up is Mo.
