Stampin’ Up! Tropical Leaf Bundle meets Create Weekly #17

Thank you so much for popping by today. It is very much appreciated.

Today’s card has been created with the Tropical Leaf Bundle along with the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. Both of which you will find in the Online Exclusives.

They have been teamed up with Create Weekly #17. I’ve had a few requests asking if I would bring back Create Weekly. Happy to say that it will be happening.

I’ve used the Sponge Daubers to create my leaves for ths card. The colours are Lemon Lime Twist & Shaded Spruce. Don’t you just love the effect?

Check out the little pops of Blueberry Bushel Glorious Gingham DSP along with the Daffodil Delight XOXO images behind the Basic White panel. To add more WOW to the card, the whole panel was embossed with my favourite folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

What about the pretty Berry Burst Tinsel Gems? Don’t they just finish the card?

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Leaf Bundle Weekly Inspiration

I thought I would recap all the projects created with the fun Tropical Leaf Bundle for the week. It has been so much fun creating these projects – easy, I know, but that’s me. This Bundle has taken me out of my comfort zone too.

The projects are all very different, some are suitable for males or females while some may be used for both. All of them may easily be changed out to suit you, eg Ink Colours, DSP, Cardstock & Images. By doing this, would result in completely different looks.

Card Candy #3 with Tropical Leaf Bundle

Today’s card has been aimed at the females. Mind you, it didn’t start out that way but I wanted to use softer colours for today’s card as I think they have been all bright so far.

For something a little different, I created my own background by randomly stamping the smaller leaf with Fresh Freesia Ink prior to randomly chopping it into 4 pieces & adhering to a Crumb Cake Cardstock layer. This layer was then added to a Lost Lagoon Base Card.

To complete the card & to tie it altogether a little more, I added a couple of the Pool Party Glossy Dots Assortments.

It’s Day 3 of showcasing the Tropical Leaf Bundle. So many ideas with this Bundle & perfect for males in your lives.

Today’s card is actually the 1st one I created with this Bundle. I wasn’t too sure where it was heading as I created my own DSP by randomly stamping the small leaf onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Old Olive Ink prior to randomly chopping into 3 strips.

The pieces were adhered to a piece of Wild Wheat Cardstock before being adhered to a layer of Very Vanilla & then to a Blackberry Bliss Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, die cut with the Something fancy Dies & stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink.

It was finished off with a couple of the Rustic Metallic Dots.

The colours are a little out of my comfort zone but hey that can be a good thing sometimes.

During May, both Robbie & myself are sharing different ways of creating Card Candy/Embellishments for your card projects. If you are a scrapbooker, then these will suit you too as they are perfect for your pages. Be sure to pop on over to check out what Robbie has created.

I love the Tailor Made Dies & thought this was the perfect opportunity to use them on some Card Candy. They been teamed up with the fun Bright & Beautiful DSP along with the Tropical Leaf Bundle.

The Base Card is Blueberry Bushell Cardstock which was teamed up with Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty Peacock & Blueberry Bushel Inks. The colour combination has been taken from the Bright & Beautiful DSP.

The Ribbon is Lemon Lime Twist & is part of the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack. It is so pretty & soft. I can see it being one of my favourites this year so look out for more of it in future posts.
