A Touch of Ink #3

Today is Day #3 of showcasing the lovely Level 2, A Touch of Ink Stamp Set which can be yours when spending $180 or more BUT only while Sale-a-Bration is happening – ends 28 February!

I hope you’ve been enjoying my cards this week with the lovely Rococo Rose?  I know I’ve enjoyed creating them.  Of course it is one of the colours retiring this year so if you love this colour, best to purchase it now!

This time round I’ve pulled out the Decorative Masks to create my background.  It is very soft which gives the whole card a very soft effect, don’t you think?

A Touch of Ink is a 2-step stamping Stamp Set which is what I did for my flower.  The outline is in Rococo Rose while the solid image is Blushing Bride but I stamped off first onto scrap paper before filling in the outline.

Rococo Rose #2

G’Day Friends,

This is Day 2 of Robbie & myself showcasing the lovely 2019-2021 In Colours over on our FB Pages.  Be sure to join us there.

Once again, my card is very simple to create but one that I think is lovely & clean so that it showcases the elements of the card perfectly.

This time round I’ve pulled out one of my favourites – Timeless Tropical Stamp Set.   It has been teamed up with the lovely Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.

The flower was stamped with Blushing Bride Ink while the leaves are Mini Macaron Ink.  The images were die cut with the matching dies from In the Tropics Dies.

The sentiment is from the Floral Essence Stamp Set.

The Base Card is again Rococo Rose along with the piece across the middle.  I am loving this colour & will be so sorry to see it leave us.

I finished the card off with a couple of 3 Clear Rhinestones..

Rococo Rose #1

G’Day Friends,

This week  Robbie & I are showcasing the lovely 2019-2021 In Colours over on our FB Pages.  Be sure to join us there.  It won’t be long & they will no longer be available.

My card is simple one but a fun one.  I’ve used the Kangaroo & Company Stamp Set to create it.  I’m not sure if you are aware but kangaroos are one of my favourite native animals.  I often walk out the front door early of a morning & find 6 or so feeding on the front lawn.  They are very quiet in the area I live in but all the same I am careful not to frighten them.  They don’t even worry about Belle – my little Maltese & she is not worried about them either.

The images have been stamped onto Basic White with my Stamparatus & coloured with Stampin’ Blends.  This piece was then embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder before being adhered to a piece of Crumb Cake & then to the Rococo Rose Base Card.

The sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White in Rococo Rose Ink, chopped back to size & shape prior to adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card I coloured the lovely White Resin Hearts with the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blend & randomly adhered them to the Card Front.

They finish the card off perfectly, don’t you think?

Heal Your Heart – Day 4

G’Day Friends,

It’s time for Day 4 showcasing the lovely Heal Your Heart Stamp Set, Level 1 from Sale-a-Bration.

Today’s DSP is from the Subtles 6 x 6 Pack but only available when joining Stampin’ Up! in January & February.

I layered a piece of the Pool Party DSP to a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock which was then adhered to a piece of embossed Pool Party Cardstock which has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

This panel was then adhered to a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock, then layered onto a piece of Basic White & finally the Night of Navy Base Card.

The sentiment from Heal Your Heart was stamped onto Basic White in Night of Navy Ink, die cut with the Layering Circles Dies before adhering to a Night of Navy scallop circle which has bee die cut with the same Layering Circles Dies.

A small bow was tied with White Twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack, adhered with a Mini Glue Dot & finished off with a couple of Coastal Cabana Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones.

12 Days of Christmas Tags

G’Day Friends,

Thanks for popping by today. It is always very much appreciated.

I am not sure if you were aware but myself & a fellow Stampin’ Up! friend, Robbie – Creations in Paper have been sharing lovely ideas for all your Christmas Tags on our FB Pages. This means that you are receiving 24 gorgeous ideas in time for Christmas.

Not only are we sharing our Christmas Tags but then we turning them into Christmas Cards. Mind you, in saying that, you don’t have to as it is just another option.

The cards & tags were all very easy & simple to create. Perfect for all those lovely Chrissy Pressies!

If you didn’t want to use them for presies, why not just hang them on your tree!

Today is #1 of Day 1 – Tag Buffet.

Once I had created my Tag, I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. This was then layered onto a piece of Real Red & then to the Whisper White Thick Base Card.

The tag was then adhered to the centre of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I decided to complete the card I would carry the Red Rhinetsones over to the Card Front. Easy peasy!!!

I sure hope you have enjoyed my project today & it has inspired you to go get crafty & create!
