I thought I would share this simpe & elegant Christms Card I quickly created the other day for a friend.
A piece of Night of Navy was embossed with the now retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder before being adhered to a Thick Basic White Base Card.
The poinsettia has been die cut from Basic White Cardstock with the Poinsettia Dies before being layered onto each other & adhered to the Card Front with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I must admit I haven’t used these Dies in some time but think they are perfect for this card, don’t you?
The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink, trimmed back to size before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To complete the card I adhered 3 x Pearls to the centre of the Poinsettia & then randomly to the card front.
I think this is the type of Christmas Card that can be easily recreated for a large number of your friends.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Today’s card has been taken from one I saw on Pinterest by Annette Elliot. I just loved the colours & the simple layout, although I have changed mine a little as you do. Thank you Annette for your inspiration.
I’ve used the sweet “A Little Lace” Stamp Set & one that I am wondering why I haven’t played with more as I am loving it. I can see a few more projects coming with this set.
Did you know the Medium Daisy Punch fits the large daisy in this set? Isn’t that fantastic?Did you notice I’ve used 4 of the retiring 2019-2021 In Colours – Terracotta Tile, Purple Posy Cardstocks, Purple Posy & Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends plus Pretty Peacock Ink? Oh not to mention the Terracotta Tile Butterfly Gems to complete my card.
Both the Classic Label Punch (one of my favourite Punches) & the Layering Ovals Dies are retiring too. Check them out in the Last Chance Product List.
Actually, I’ve used a lot of retiring products to create my card today as I’ve just realised the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder is on the list too!
This has been in the making for a number of months/years but happy to say that it is now ready. If you subscribe to my newsletter, you would have already received the new on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who has already jumped on board. It is very much appreciated.
It’s a new month which means a new Sketch Layout. This is where you receive a Sketch Layout at the beginning of each month along with a project & PDF Tutorial, Tips & Ideas each Monday using the same sketch.

March is now open & is all about the lovely & fun Quite Curvy Stamp Set which has been teamed up with the ever so versatile Forever Greenery DSP. A match made in heaven.
Today’s card is one that I’ve created with the lovely new Butterfly Brilliance Collection which goes live today until the beginning of May. I am loving this collection & much to my surprise am enjoying creating for a class around this Collection but I am getting off the beaten track so to speak.
I embossed a piece of Mint Macaron with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder prior to adhering to a Just Jade Base Card.
A piece of the Butterfly Bijou DSP was trimmed down prior to adhering to a piece of Basic White & then to the top part of the Card Front.
I die cut the stitched shape from Basic White with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, die cut with the Layering Circles Dies & adhered to the centre of the stitched shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This was then adhered to the centre of the DSP panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals too.
I inked up the butterfly of choice, stamped onto a piece of Basic White in Memento Tuxedo Ink prior to colouring & blending with Mini Macaron Stampin’ Blends.
The image was die cut with the outline die from Butterfly Wings Dies before being adhered to the bottom of the die cut circle/shape with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on bottom of the wings only.
To complete the card I randomly adhere Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone to the front of the card.
During March we are showcasing this lovely collection, so be sure to subscribe for more ideas on creating with this collection.
Today is the last day of showcasing the lovely Pretty Peacock 2019-2021 In Colour. I do hope you are enjoying the cards I’ve been creating with these In Colours over the past few weeks.
I’ve combined the “old”, so to speak, with the “new” for today’s share. Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set is from the 2021 Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue.
The more I use this set, the more I am loving it. So much potential.
I randomly stamped 4 images from Enjoy Every Moment Stamp Set onto 4 x squares in Old Olive Ink. These squares were then adhered to 4 x scallop squares die cut from Coastal Cabana with the Layering Squares Dies before adhering to the left side of Basic White which has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment from the same set was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Pretty Peacock Ink & die cut with the die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies before being adhered to centre of the 4 squares with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A very easy but effective card I think but more importantly I do hope you like it.
