Clipboard…

For something a little different, I thought I would post a Clipboard I did the other day.  This board now sits by my phone & comes very handy for those messages & dates.
I had all intensions of using it as a clipboard, but once I had printed the calendars & found spare Post-It Notes, that idea went out the window.
Clipboard –
Cut 2 pieces of DSP – Lap of Luxury, one for top of Clipboard & the other for the bottom
Adhere both pieces to Clipboard
Cut a strip of Concord Crush Cardstock & using your Scallop Trim Border, punch both sides of strip
Adhere strip of Basic Gray to the top of Concord Crush
Adhere to DSP where top & bottom join – this covers the join
Apply row of pale pink pearls along middle of strip
Calendar –
Print 2011 calendar & punch holes in the top LHS & RHS
Push flower brads – Pretty in Pink – through both holes
Adhere to square piece of Concord Crush Cardstock
Adhere calendar to top RHS of Clipboard
Post-It Notes –
Using Concord Crush Ink, stamp sentiment/greeting on all Post-It Pages
Cut piece of Concord Crush Cardstock & adhere Post-It Notes
Adhere to middle of Clipboard
Bulldog Clips –
Cut small pieces of DSP & adhere to Clips – 3
Cut small piece of Ribbon – Pretty-in-Pink & tie to clip
Adhere rhinestones – purple & pearls – pink
Clip onto Clipboard
Clip –
Tie ribbon to top of clip – Concord Crush & Pretty-in-Pink – 3 pieces
Pen –
Cut small piece of DSP
Take middle of pen out & insert DSP
Tie small piece of Ribbon – Pretty-in-Pink – around the top
Finished.  Your clipboard is now ready to sit in your office, beside the phone or on the kitchen bench, ready for those messages!

For You…

Today’s card is a sketch from Stamping411 – http://stamping411.blogspot.com
Again, another easy one to do, the posibilities are endless!
Using SU Pastels, I’ve created a very light background, including the sun, then embossed over.  I didn’t want the pastels to be too vivid so to compete with the embossing folder.
Tutorial for Heat Embossing may be found here
This makes for a great Male Card!

Sama…. Sama…

I forgot to post this previously, but same card & sketch as below, changed the ribbon to white.

I’ve used the Pretty in Pink & Aqua Painter to colour the flower, added Dazzling Diamonds & Rhnestones!

A little bit of a different look!

In Colours….

G’Day Stampers,
I’ve just finished creating a set of 6, 5 x 5 Gift Cards and Wallet for a friend.  I’ve used all the Australian Current Stampin’ Up!® “In” Colours.  I then made envelopes to suit the size & to match the cards.
I got to use my new Butterfy Punch which is in the latest Stampin’ Up!® current Mini-Catalogue.
Don’t forget this Mini ends 31st March!

Gosh, I hope I haven’t forgotten anything.
I created a Wallet specially to hold the cards, which closes of its own accord, so I didn’t need to use anything to hold it closed.
I typed Mary’s name on the pc & then punched it out using the Large Oval Punch
Using the butterfly stamp from “Great Friend”, I’ve stamped the image onto the card, then again onto Whisper White, cut this image out & using mini-dots, adhereded to card.  You can’t see it in the pics – sri

One Box, Sooooo Many Uses….

G’Day Stampers,

I’ve been off the air lately, but last night sat myself down & created a box.  I don’t know how or what possessed me, but I just knew that I had to come up with something which I could use for many things – jewellery box, pencil case, chocolates, office, etc.  The list is endless.
This one is going into my own bag, as I can never find my pens and will include my office supplies which I carry around with me.  It is not very big, that it will take up a lot of room!  My ruler even fits into it!
