With Father’s Day coming up, it was perfect timing to create a card especially for Dad or the male in your life. It is the perfect card for anyone who happens to play a “little” golf. Is there such a word as “a little golf”?
We used the beautiful new RegalsDesigner Series Paper Stack for this card & would you believe it, one of the designs looked just like an image in the stamp set, so of course, we had to use it together.
Since the change to the Colour Families, I am really enjoying the Regals Family & am going to have to put a halt to the whole lot soon or everyone will be sick of them & think there is no other colours. They are just so lovely!

My share today is one of the 3 cards we did in our August Classes – “Misc Cards”.
As I get a lot of requests for male cards, thought it would be a great idea to showcase the great little stamp set “Pennant Parade“, Page 18 of the new catalogue. This set is perfect for all occasions.
We also concentrated on a couple of key colours for our cards – Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Early Expresso, Whisper White, Garden Green & Night of Navy. I like to show people that you do not need everything in the catalogue (although it would certainly nice to have it all) to create lovely cards.
This is not my original idea as I saw something like it on Pinterest, but didn’t say it. I only sort of remember seeing it & for some reason it stuck in my mind. I did change it a little though.
I don’t have a tutorial for today’s card, but will post one with all 3 cards once I have posted the last card.

Yahooooooo, I have finally managed to use MDS for a card – little though it is, I did it!!!!!!!
I have played with it over the weeks since purchasing it & I must say I LOVE it. I don’t know if I will use it that much but hey it is a start & who knows what I will create in the future. For the moment I am quiet happy with myself with what I created.
I’ve been creating Baby Cards for TheHandmade Expo the last couple of weeks as this is one sort of card I seem to sell a lot of. I don’t know what it is about them that seems so popular but the public love them. Maybe it is the clean look as I like to keep my Baby Cards mainly White with just a little bit of colour.
I cannot take the credit for my card today as I found it on Google, so please if you recognise it, let me know as I would love to give you the credit for your beautiful card. I did change the colours a little.
Not only did I manage to use MDS but also the stamp set “Pennant Parade” which has been sitting on my shelf gathering dust. I also used my new EF – Houndstooth. I wasn’t too sure if I would like this folder, but I have to say “YES”……………… AND can see myself using it on lots of things.

First up I must aplogise for not having the measurements for you in this post, but if anyone is wanting them, please email me. I really have to think what I actually used here….
?
I did this card sometime ago – early September to be exact & did make it with a little boy in mind, but ended up sending it off to my uncle. He turned 81!!! He is always stirring me, so I thought this would be a great way to get one up on him….. He thought it fantastic, but the best part, the great-grandkids loved it!!!!!!
After adhering the base card together using Wild Wasabi & So Saffron Cardstocks, I adhered DSP onto Early Expresso then onto the So Saffron. This formed the front of the card.
Using my Scallop Circle Punch, I punched a circle with Early Expresso, adhered a circle of Wild Wasabi Cardstock to the top which had been punched using the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch. I punched another piece of Cardstock in Whisper White with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch & adhered to the top of the Wild Wasabi circle.

Envelope…
?I stamped my image onto Whisper White Cardstock using Early Expresso Ink,punched the image with the new Petite Pennants Builder Punch & adhered to the circle with Snail Adhesive. I stamped the top onto Whisper White using So Saffron Ink, cut it out, dotted some dots using my SU Marker – Early Expresso, placed white gel dots around the scallop with my Gel Pen & adhered to the top of the cone with SU Dimensionals. The whole scallop circle was adhered to the card with SU Dimensionals. For my greeting, I stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock in Early Expresso Ink, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch & adhered to a piece of Baja Breeze which had been punched with the Scallop Oval Punch. I again placed white gel dots around the scallop with my Gel Pen & adhered to the bottom of the card with SU Dimensionals.
As I wanted the card to be flat for posting, instead of gluing all sides together, I left one side open & placed 3 SU Dimensionals to the inside of the card.
