Chat & Create – Stamping for Ava

G’Day Friends,

Card #3 is the show today!  Are you ready?

In case you have just joined me, I am showcasing the cards we created for our Charity morning for Ava.  You can read all about Ava’s Journey here.

Lots of yummy handmade food from our many volunteers around the community. Thank you so much.

Of course you can’t have yummy food without tea & coffee to wash it down.  This was our Coffee & Tea Station for the morning, where everyone could help themselves until lunch when we all played ladies with proper china!

Card #3 uses lots of pretty retired product but a perfect way to use up all the lovely DSP & to get 1 more use from the Stamp Set prior to selling.

Again, very simple & easy but one that proved very popular!

Card #3 – It’s Your Day!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Happy Stamping!

Butterfly Brilliance

G’Day Stampers,

Today I am sharing with you a card I created sometime ago but have never gotten round to sharing it with you.

Butterflies!  I love seeing them in my garden, flying out & in the flowers & plants  Some of them bright while others not so but all very beautiful just the same.

The butterflies have been stamped onto Basic White in Bermuda Bay, chopped into 3’s prior to adhering to a piece of Blushing Bride.  I didn’t go how these colours would suite but I am liking them.

Randomly chopping my layers & DSP into pieces is one of my favourite ways of creating my cards.  So what do I do this time round after stamping my image?  Chop into 3’s, of course.

The central butterfly is from the now retired Butterfly Bijou DSP.  I love that we have images on some of our DSP that also coordinate with our Dies.

To download a free PDF Tutorial, all you have to do is click on the link below.  It includes both A4 – Metric & Imperial plus Letter size measurements.  Of course we can’t forget the List of Products to create your project.

Dragonfly Garden

G’Day Stampers,

Today’s card is an idea I’ve had in my head for a couple of days so of course, I had to try & recreate the idea onto a card.  I’m happy to say that it worked out how I was one seeing it.

I die cut 4 different stitched rectangle shapes from a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Dies before randomly stamping 3 of the shapes with images from Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set.   The 4th one I stamped a sentiment from the same Stamp Set.  All images were stamped in Night of Navy Ink.

The shapes were then arranged & adhered to a mat of Smokey Slate Cardstock.

A piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, adhered to a Night of Navy Base Card before the Smokey Slate panel was adhered to the centre of the embossed Cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I punched 3 x small dragonflies from scrap Merry Merlot Cardstock with the Dragonflies Punch prior to randomly adhering to the Card Front.

To complete the card, I adhered a Silver Metallic Pearls to the centre of each dragonfly & randomly to the panel.

I hope you like it as much as I did creating it.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Celebrate Sunflowers #3

G’Day Friends,

I do hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I am a little late in sharing my 3rd project with you featuring the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.

I am not normally a green person but I am loving the colour combination with this one.  I’m not sure if it is the touch of Pumpkin Pie in the sunflower or what it may be.

I’ve teamed Mint Macaron, Old Olive with touches of Pumpkin Pie & Soft Suede to create this one.

Sometimes we don’t know where our creations are heading but we keep pushing on with them so that the end result is as much a surprise to us as it is to you.

I’ve completed the card with a couple of Holiday Rhinestones.

Celebrate Sunflowers #2

G’Day Friends,

I have another project for you today using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.

In fact it is one I took from the brand new Catalogue due to go live 4 May.

Again, I’ve used my Blending Brushes to blend Polished Pink Ink over a piece of Linen Cardstock – both new products in the Catalogue Cardstock left over.

It was then layered onto a piece of Basic White & then to a Mint Macaron Base Card.

The sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen Ink – new In-Colour – direct onto a piece of Mint Macaron before being die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.

A piece of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock was randomly stamped in Soft Sea Foam Ink with the small leaves from the Celebrate Sunflowers prior to being adhere to the back of the sentiment shape.

A piece of Flowers for Every Season Ribbon was then adhered to the back of the panel with Mini Glue Dots.

The sunflower shape was die cut from a piece of Basic White with the Sunflower Dies & then adhered to the centre of the Card Font before the panel adhered over the middle of the sunflower shape with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The card was completed by randomly adhering Pearls to the Card Front.
