Today sees the start of Week 3 showcasing Card Candy for our projects. To tell you the truth, I didn’t think I would get this far lol.

For the whole week my Focus will be the Zany Zoo Stamp Set, along with the coordinating Zany Zoo Dies & Zoo Crew DSP. Stay tuned throughout the week to see what I come up with.

Throughout the month of May, Robbie & myself have been sharing Card Candy with you on our YouTube Channels. We are then posting our projects to our blogs with a link to each other. Check out to see what Robbie has created.

I’ve gone with a Black & White theme today with just hints of colour by colouring the ballonns & the Racoon’s mask with Watercolour Pencils.

To highlight the colouring & to blend the colour a little more, I applied Clear Wink of Stella to the colouring.

To complete the card, I adhered a piece of the Zany Zoo DSP to a piece of Lemon Lime Twist before adhering it to Basic White & then to a Basic Black Base Card.

The Card Candy was then adhered to the middle of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. It was finished off with Black Classic Matte Dots.

It’s Day 3 of showcasing the Tropical Leaf Bundle. So many ideas with this Bundle & perfect for males in your lives.

Today’s card is actually the 1st one I created with this Bundle. I wasn’t too sure where it was heading as I created my own DSP by randomly stamping the small leaf onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Old Olive Ink prior to randomly chopping into 3 strips.

The pieces were adhered to a piece of Wild Wheat Cardstock before being adhered to a layer of Very Vanilla & then to a Blackberry Bliss Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, die cut with the Something fancy Dies & stamped with Blackberry Bliss Ink.

It was finished off with a couple of the Rustic Metallic Dots.

The colours are a little out of my comfort zone but hey that can be a good thing sometimes.

Card Candy with Zany Zoo by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for another Card Candy? Much to my surprise I am really enjoying the creative side of these. I hope you are too.

During May, both Robbie & myself are sharing different ways of creating Card Candy/Embellishments for your card projects. If you are a scrapbooker, then these will suit you too as they are perfect for your pages. Don’t forget to jump on over to check out what Robbie has created.

I went straight to the Annual Catlaogue to find inspiration today. Don’t be scared to do that – ther are great for lots of ideas, tips & inspiration. I completely forgot to take a photo of the tag prior to adding it to my project!

Doesn’t that Granny Apple Green base card make it pop? I wasn’t too sure if it would be too much, but I think it does.

After chopping a small piece of the Zoo Crew DSP into 3 pieces & adhering them to a piece of Petal Pink, I think decided that maybe the Basic White layer would be too stark so I then decided to sponge Pumpkin Pie over it & randomly stamp a few of the musice notes just the same as the Tag.

The Ribbon Duo Combo Pack in this Suite Collection is really very pretty. I love the soft Petal Pink & Lemon Lime Twist contrast. Would never have thought to put the 2 colours together but they compliment each other so well.

Oh, did I mention this Bundle will be showcased in our next Online Class to Go!? All the details will be released this coming Monday.

Card Candy #2 with Stampin’ Up Two-Tone Floral

G’Day Friends,

It’s time for another Card Candy. Thank you to everyone who visited our Channels & blog for our 1st Card Candy. It is very much appreciated.

For my share, I went with the Tw0-Tone Floral Stamp Set & Dies. It’s my first time playing with these products but believe me, it won’t be the last. The images are so realistic & I am loving the 2-Step Stepping which is part of the Stamp Set.

To create my card I actually went with a layout I created sometime ago but as usual it sort of went off on it’s own way. Does that ever happen to you?

I decided to stick with the colours in the Card Candy of Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath, Basic White & the Moody Mauve DSP. The colours are not what I would normally team up together but they seem to work.

It was finished off with 3 x Moody Mauve In Colour Dots.

Circle Sayings Exclusive Online Class

Circle Sayings Online Card Class to Go!

G’Day Friends,

Today I am sharing the new format of what was known as Sweet & Simple Online Class. It is just Online Card Class to Go! especially for the Beginners of us.

The classes will go live the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month. They are all FREE although the Kits are now available for FREE with a $40 order in my Online Shop. May Host Code is already attached to this link.

Included in your kits will be 2 each of 2 designs, that’s 4 kits, the PDF Tutorial with the VIdeo Link PLUS a Sketch Layout for something a little different. Throughout the month, the same layout will be used so that you can see different ways of using the Layout. Of course, where possible, we will be creating with the same Stamp Set/Bundle & creating 2 completly different cards, eg male or female, boy or girl, etc.
