I went with a bit of a different spin on the layout today but one that I think worked out ok. Sometimes you have these ideas in your head but doesn’t always work on “paper”.

I am loving the colour combination with touches of Night of Navy sneaking through.

Supplies –

Stamp Set – Simply Said
Ink – Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock – Basic White, Night of Navy
Embellishments – Blooming Pearls
Dies – Deckled Circles
Colouring Tools – Blending Brushes, Stampin’ Write Markers

Making the most of Your DSP | April

It’s time for another 12 x 12 sheet of DSP – Designer Series Paper Template.

I am a little behind in sharing our next Template with you but sometimes life happens & we have to deal with things as they come along.

I shared #2 DSP Template on my YouTube Channel yesterday & created 3 of 12 cards that you are able to create using the Template Layout.

Throughout May, I will be sharing the remainder of the cards created using the same template although Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set & Dies will be retired, you are able to change them out for anything you have in your stash. Weekly Sketch #4 | Stampin’ Up! | Artistically Inked

Now, I will admit my card is totally different to what I had in my mind. For one, I used a completely different stamp set by just pulling the wrong one off the shelf lol. Never mind, I’m happy with the final result.

Sometimes Tahitian Tide can be a little too brght for me but I toned it down with Night of Navy & touches of Granny Apple Green & Pretty Peacock.

Now, a Card Sketch can be as easy as you like or as hard as you like. I’ve gone for the easy option on this one & very true to the layout too.

The colours are way out of my comfort zone but hey that can be a good thing. I’ve taken the colours from the Inked Botanicals 6 x 6 DSP.
