Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination #3

G’Day Friends,

I hope you have enjoyed our Colour Combination this week. I know I’ve enjoyed creating with these colours. They are a little different especially with the Pretty Peacock although the Fresh Freesia & Pool Party tone it done a little.

Again, I’ve gone with the Petal Park Stamp Set along with the Petal Park Builder Punch. This time round, I also used the Sentimental Park Stamp Set for the flower & sentiment images.

Well after a bit of a false start, I think we managed to create a pretty card for someone’s birthday, but you be the judge of that.The flowers were ones I had left over from my prvious projects. To create them, I stamped 2 lots – 1 lot with Pool Party Ink & the 2nd lot with Fresh Freesia Ink prior to punching with the Petal Park Builder Punch.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination

It’s a new month which means Robbie & myself have a new theme where we’re playing with Colour Combinations.

Now, I will admit that I love playing with colour combos but when put on the spot, I think my mind goes into panic mode.

I wasn’t too sure where I was gonna start with my card except that I wanted to use something that has been sitting on my shelf neglected. Out come the Petal Park Stamp Set along with the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.

I then decided to emboss the Basic White with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to add even more dimenion. Then while creating the card, I had a light bulb moment to add small splatters of Pretty Peacock with the Pretty Peacock Stampn’ Write Marker.The Basic White circle has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies. This set of Dies are fantastic & can see myself using them for more & more projects. They would be just perfect for scrapbooking too.

WOW Card with Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle

Can you beleive today is our last day for Sketch Layout #3 where we’re finishing off with a WOW card?

Once again, I’ve gone with the Brights 6 x 6 DSP which is what I had in mind when I first started this week’s cards. I sort of worked backwards in my head.

As one of my favourite colouring medims are the little but mighty Sponge Duabers, I thought, why not continue with them but at the same time, expand their use & finish off with a bang!

I love all the daisies on this card & how they wrer arranged. Normally I would place the larger flower at the bottom but changed my mind at the last minute. Think it works out quiet well, don’t you?

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle Stepped Up Version

I love the Brights 6 x 6 Paper & I love the Cheerful Daisiers Bundle. To me, this is the perfect match.

I love our Sponge Daubers & use them at every chance I get. What about you? Have you given them a go or used them lately?

The die cut embossed flower has been coloured with the Sponge Daubers & Lemon Lolly Ink which just happens to be one of my favourites although I’m not really a yellow person.

The leaves have been stamped with Lemon Lime Twist Ink & fussy cut but you could easily use the die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park meets Create Weekly #28

Thank you so much for popping by today. It is very much appreciated.

Before we get onto today’s Create Weekly, I just wanted to say that as from Friday, 1 September, I will be sharing a series of Colour Combinations every 2nd Friday. The combinations will be focusing on the In Colours – 2022-2024 & 2023-2025. I hope you will join me on my YouTube Channel.

I’m a little late in posting our Create Weekly today as I had to duck into town.

Today’s layout is a very easy one but with lots of potential especially the background.

The colours for this card are – Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, Blackberry Bliss & Old Olive. I would never have thought to put these colours together but they compliment each other so well, don’t you think?

Check out the pretty stamp in the background. Isn’t it gorgeous? It’s been stamped direct onto Basic White prior to embossing with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
