July Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to our July Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop.  Thank you for dropping by.

This month our focus is all about the lovely Inked & Tiled Bundle which is Page 94 of the Annual Catalogue.

You may be starting with me – Vicky Wright, Australia – or you may have come from another blog.  Either way, I hope you enjoy our projects we have to share with you today.

I’ve kept my card fairly simple today as I wanted the focus to be on the stamp from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set.  Isn’t it just gorgeous?

To create my card, a piece of the Inked Botanicals DSP was adhered to a Thick Very Vanilla Base Card.  The image has been coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers.  The stem & leaves are Lost Lagoon while the flowers are Calypso Coral.

The sentiment is from the same set & stamped direct onto Very Vanilla with Lost Lagoon Ink.  It was die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies.  To break the tone on tone, a small stitched Lost Lagoon banner was die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies prior to being adhered behind the Very Vanilla circle & popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish it off, a couple of Basic Pearls, which I haven’t used for so long were randomly adhered to the stamped panel.  A small bow was tied with a piece of Linen Thread & adhered to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.

I do hope you have enjoyed my project today.  Thanks again for dropping by.

As this is a blog hop, don’t forget to hop along by clicking on the links below.  I’m sure you’ll find lots of inspiration for this great Bundle or Stamp Set.

It’s been a little while since our last Create weekly Sketch Layout.  My internet has been playing up so much of late that I actually lost it for about 3 days.  Not sure what I did to get it back but hey we won’t question that!

This is another easy sketch layout & one that can be used over & over again.  I love this type of layout.  Each time you use it, your card will look completely different.

Have you seen the gorgeous Inked Botanicals DSP?  I am loving these papers so much.  You may remember that I played iwth them last month highlighting just some of our faboulous DSP from the Annual Catalogue.

Yep, I’ve chopped my DSP yet again.  If you wanted, you could create your own DSP by randomly stamping onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock & then randomly chopping just like I have on my card.  In fact, it is exactly how I started out but changed my mind at the last moment.

Grab your supplies to create your own version of the layout.  Don’t forget to share your creation on my FB Page or in our Stamp & Create FB Group.  We would love to see them.

I challenged myself to create a male card using the Inked Bontanicals DSP along with the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set.  I think it’s work, but you be the judge.

As I wanted the DSP to be a panel but also the highlight of the card, I cut a small rectangle so as not to hide the pretty paper.  The DSP was layered onto a piece of Lost Lagoon Cardstock prior to being adhered to a Very Vanilla Base Card.

The stamping has been kept to a minimum too.  The leaf is Lost Lagoon Ink while the sentiment is Calypso Coral Ink.  It was finished off with a small Linen Thread bow.
