Favored Flowers #4 by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

So today I have another card to share with you, again using theLevel 1, Favored Flowers DSP from 2023 Sale-a-Bration.

It’s actually the same card I shared with you a couple of days ago which I had cased from the 2023 Sale-a-Bration Brouchure, Page 11.

When I do my lives, instead of creating 2 or 3 cards the same I like to create 1 live & then share a 2nd version & step you through it on how it was created & the colours that weere used.

A Decorative Mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks was placed over a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to blending Fresh Freesia Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

The colours used on today’s card are Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla & Smokey Slate Cardstock.  The Garden Green Twine is from the Three Twine Combo Pack.

 Once again, the flowers were fussy cut fom a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP before being adhered onto a Vellum die cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals The Vellum circle was then adhered to the card front with Adhesive.

G’Day Friends,

I’ve been off the air for a little bit as have updated my laptop & of course everything had to be reloaded to the newbie which in itself can take sometime to do & a very slow process in some cases.

As I am still trying to catch up, I thought I would share with you a simple & easy card created for one of our Sketch Layouts for our #WCMD.  You can join our group HERE if you wish.

The Paper is from the bold, bright & fun Butterfly Kisses 6 x 6 DSP Pack.  I didn’t think I would like it as much as I have.  I’ve been creating heaps with it but will share the projects at a later date.

The colours are Parakeet Party, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape & Starry Sky Inks while the Cardstock is Basic White & Parakeet Party.  I think the bright flower is what makes the card pop.

It’s been finished off with the lovely Fun Flower Resin Shapes which are part of the whole Butterfly Kisses Suite.

I hope you’ve been enjoying my cards this week with the lovely Rococo Rose?  I know I’ve enjoyed creating them.  Of course it is one of the colours retiring this year so if you love this colour, best to purchase it now!

This time round I’ve pulled out the Decorative Masks to create my background.  It is very soft which gives the whole card a very soft effect, don’t you think?

A Touch of Ink is a 2-step stamping Stamp Set which is what I did for my flower.  The outline is in Rococo Rose while the solid image is Blushing Bride but I stamped off first onto scrap paper before filling in the outline.

I am sharing with you one of 3 cards created sometime ago for the Beginner Stamper, through to the Avid Stamper.  Today’s card is for the Beginner.

I am going to miss this gorgoeous Stamp Set.  First Frost has been a great friend to me & one of my “go to” stamp sets.  Have you grabbed your set while you can?

I’ve done a little bit of basic masking to create my card but only stamped with Night of Navy & Mossy Meadow Inks.  I think this card proves that you don’t need a lot of product to create a lovely card.  Don’t you agree?

First Frost

Today I am sharing with you a card we created sometime ago in class.  I had a little bit of First-Frost-2---Insidethe Frosted Floral Specialty DSP left over & it fitted the card I had in mind perfectly.

We teamed the DSP with the matching First Frost Stamp Set along with the Frosted Bouquet Dies but you could certainly change both the DSP & Stamp Set to what you have in your stash.
