G’Day Friends,

Today I am sharing with you the card I created for our series of CASEing the Catalogue.

Of course, we couldn’t go past the front cover of the Annual Catalogue without doing our version of the cover. The colours & design are so bright & fun. I never tire of looking at the cover.

I decided to go with Artistically Ink Stamp Set along with the matching Artistic Dies. Both of which I haven’t played with in some time. Although in saying that, I’ve only used the sentiment from the Stamp Set after all!

A piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder while the die cut flower shape has been sponged with Sponge Daubers with Old Olive, So Saffron, Merry Merlot & Balmy Blue Inks.

The sentiment has been stamped with Merry Merlot Ink before being cut back to size & shape. A piece of the Gold & Vanilla Satin-Edged Ribbon was adhered behind the sentiment prior to being adhered across the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card, Palye Papaya Opal Rounds were randomly added to the card front.

I’m loving the colours of Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue & Very Vanilla along with the Ink colours.

Create Weekly #19 with Butterfly Brilliance by Stampin’ Up!

Each Sunday I share a Sketch Layout for our group to play with.

Then the next day – Monday, I share a video tutorial showing how I created my card along with a bonus project using the same layout. It’s a lot of fun, especially great if you are stuck for inspiration.

It is a simple layout although you can make it as hard or asa easy as you like. In my case, I let the lovely DSP do all the talking & be the star of the show.

I created my card with the Design a Daydream DSP which I teamed up with the lovely Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set & the matching Brilliant Wings Dies.

The Cardstock colours are Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive & Basic White while the Ink is So Saffron & Blackberry Bliss.

The sentiment on the card is from the fun Biggest Wish Stamp Set & one of my go to sets. I love that you can do so much with it & have a different result each time.

Hues of Happiness Suite by Stampin’ Up!

Today I am sharing our Create Weekly #19 Sketch layout. I share a layout each Sunday & the on the Monday a video is shared creating a card with the layout along with 1 or 2 alternate ideas. They are always nice & easy which is what it is all about plus it’s a great way of getting your mojo going with the added bonus of being lots of fun.

For my card today I played with one of everyone’s favoutite- the Hues of Happiness Suite which is in the Annual Catalogue. Even though I am not a Bright’s person, I am loving all the bright colours in this Suite.

The Base Card is Pool Party & teamed up with the lovely So Saffron flower which has been die cut from the gorgeous DSP. Don’t you love it when we can do that?

Butterfly Kisses Suite by Stampin’ Up

We played around with the fun & bright Best Butterflies Suite in our Stamp & Create FB Live yesterday.

Each week, I post a Sketch Layout where we create our project using the layout.

I thought it would be fun to showcase an alternate way of creating a very easy Fun Fold using the Sketch Layout.

I will be honest & say I didn’t really look at this Suite from the Annual until recently. After playing with it for a few days even creating a bright Cards to GO! Kit with it, I’m happy to say that I am loving it so much. So much fun!
