Hello Ladybug Bundle

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for dropping by.

As Robbie & I have our March Stamp Camp coming up & we are featuring the Hello Ladybug Bundle, I thought I would feature this Bundle all week.  It is such a fun set & suitable for all occasions.  Now be warned, none of the cards I am sharing with you are part of the camp lol.

As it’s Monday, that means it’s Manly Monday, so I thought I would team it up with the Sunshine & Rainbow DSP which is Level 1 from Sale-a-Bration along with the Biggest Wish Stamp Set.

The colours I’ve used to create my card are –

  • Base Card – Night of Navy
  • Layer 1 – Daffodil Delight
  • Layer 2 – Basic White
  • DSP – Sunshine & Rainbows
  • Inks – Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green, Real Red

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use February’s Host Code – Y7CPFNKQ –  if your order is under $250.   All orders receive a PDF Tutorial & a Handmade Card from me.

Hello Ladybug & Across the Waves

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for visiting my blog today as I have something special to share with you.

Robbie from Creations in Paper & myself have teamed up to give you Across the Waves Mini Blog Hop.  Each Wednesday we will be sharing & featuring a project created with a nominated Stamp Set or Bundle.

For all of February, the fun Hello Ladybug Bundle will be the star!   It is available from the current Mini Catalogue & is such a fun Bundle .  One that I am having lots of fun with.  Have you purchased your Bundle yet?

To create my card I decided to go with the colours of Pale Papaya, So Saffron, Old Olive, Calypso Coral & Basic White.

A layer of Basic White was embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder while another piece of  Basic White was created with one of the masks from the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks which is available from the Annual Catalogue.

The large leaf has been stamped in Old Olive Ink prior to being fussy cut.  By the way, did you know if you chop off the top part, it turns into such alovely shape heart – perect for Valentine’s Day or any day for that matter.

To complete the card I randomly adhered the a couple of the Bronze Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the Card Front.

Awesome Otters – Make n Take #2

G’Day Friends,
I spent Saturday crafting online with a lovely group of friends in our World Card Making Group – #WCMG.  It was a full on day showcasing the Sale-a-Bration & the Mini Catlaogues.  We shared lots of lovely projects with videos, tips & ideas.  You are more than welcome to join us if you like.
As it is Monday, it means it’s Manly Monday,  I thought I would share one of the cards that I created from Annette’s lovely project.  Perfect for the kids!
Both the cute Awesome Otters Stamp Set & the Simply Marbleous DSP are Level 1 Sale-a-Bration items that you are able to receive for free when spending $90AUD.
My card has been created using scraps of DSP & Cardstock so I actually went with what I had.  The cute little otters have been coloured & blended with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, while the hat is Manago Melody & Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped onto So Saffron Cardstock in Night of Navy Ink, chopped back to size & shape before being adhered to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
You can watch Annette’s video by clicking on  this link.

Need supplies to create today’s project at home?  Don’t forget to use January’s Host Code – GBDGREJN –  if your order is under $250.   All orders receive a PDF Tutorial & a Handmade Card from me.

Sweet Ice Cream meets Manly Monday

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for dropping by today.  It is always very much appreciated.

Today’s card is one I created for our December challenge in our World Card Making Group – #WCMG.  You are able to join us if you like.  December is all about a Colour Challenge.

Don’t you just love these colours together?

As the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set was already sitting on my desk I decided to go with what was in front of me.  But how to use the colours?

I masked off a small section of a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock prior to randomly stamping the images in the above colours onto the Cardstock & over the masked area.

Carefully removing the mask, I stamped the sentiment in the middle with Night of Navy Ink.  Now this is perfect timing to use your Stamparatus as it makes things so much easier & you know your sentiment will be straight.

This piece of Cardstock was then adhered to a Night of Navy Base Card.

How easy & simple is this card?

Sweet Ice Cream #2

G’Day Friends,

Today’s card is taken from the same sketch & with basically the same supplies I shared with you last week.  You can find the first card here.

The Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set is such a fun set with lots of fun images.  Again, the paper is the Pansy Petals DSP.  I am having so much fun creating with these papers.

The colours are Old Olive. So Saffron & Rich Razzleberry along with Soft Suede.

It was finished off with the Holiday Rhinestones – one of my favourites & “go to” embellishments.

All I’ve done is changed out the colours & it looks a completely different card.  What do you think?

Want to create my project at home?  All the supplies are available in my Online Stampin’ Up! Store.  Add all the items to your Shopping Cart by clicking on the photo below or just pick & chose what you would like to add to your Shopping Cart.
