Boughs & Blossoms #3

G’Day Friends,

It’s my last day of featuring the sweet Boughs & Blossoms Stamp Set.

You can find this set on Page 26 of the current Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue.  Perfect for any occasion with lots of lovely spring images, although we are entering into Autumn here down under!

I had something in mind when I went to create today’s card but wasn’t too sure if it would work but I think I’ve achieved it.

To create my card the sentiment from the same sent was stamped onto Basic White in Magenta Madness Ink.

The fowers & leaves were then randomly stamped around the sentiment in Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight Inks.

The sentiment section was then die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, before the piece was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

It was then adhered to a layer of Basic Black before being adhered to a Magenta Madness Base Card.

The die cut sentiment shape was then adhered back into place with Stampin’ Dimensionals ensuring all the images matched in.

The card was then completed with a couple of Matte Black Dots.

Supplies –

Stamp Set – Boughs & Blossoms

Inks – Magenta Madness, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party

Celebrate Sunflowers

G’Day Friends,

I know what you are thinking?  Why am I posting on a Sunday?  Well, I did a FB Live in my group on Thursday & I thought I would share it with you, even though it is a simple & easy one but hey, who can go past Sunflowers or in the case of the 2nd card – Daisies or Gerberas?

These are the measurements I gave the group so that they could stamp along with me.

This is my first card I created used Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Smokey Slate & Shaded Spruce.  For those that know me, it isn’t very often I create 2 of the same card.

I then decided to switch it around a little by changing out the colours to Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Soft Sea Foam & Grey Granite.  I also decided to go with the original sketch layout – see above.  This way I get 2 different cards but using the same layout & supplies!

Why not give the sketch layout a go.  It is one that you can use over & over again & not think it the same layout.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – January 2022

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for joining me today.  Once again I am joining Kylie & Bruno’s  Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop!

We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and to reach goals we have set ourselves.  Your support is really appreciated.

You may be starting here – Vicky Wright – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I randomly selected a piece of the lovely Simply Marblevous Paper – Level 1 from Sale-a-Bration & then had to decide what colours to use so I opted for Garden Green & Gorgeous Grape.

The DSP was randomly chopped into 3 pieces before adhering to a piece of the Gorgeous Grape Cardstock ensuring that the patterns match in & leaving a small amount of Gorgeous Grape around all sides.  This layer was then adhered to a Garden Green Base Card.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped onto Basic White in Garden Green Ink & die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

The larger butterfly from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape Ink, die cut with the matching Nature’s Thoughts Dies bfeore being adhered to the left side of the sentiment.

The 2 little buttterflies have been die cut from Blushing Bride Cardstock with Nature’s Thoughts Dies before being randomly adhered to the card front.

The card has been finished off with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Once again, thank you so much for popping by today!
