Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Bundle

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for a little crafting today?

My card today is yet another I created using the same layout from Page 77 of the Mini Catalogue along with parts of the card sample on Page 77 of the same Catalogue.  All I’ve done is combined the 2 together to create today’s card.

You can see the 1st layout by clicking HERE.  It includes the Measurements for A4 – Metric & Imperial.  If you click the link to Robbie’s card, she will have her measurements in Letter Size.  The 2nd card I shared with the same layout may be found HERE.

Now, I’m not normally a purple girl but I will admit that I am loving these colours, especially with the the Orchid Oasis Glmmer Paper.  It just shimmers away sometimes in the background & sometimes popping out in front.

The stamped image is from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set & coloured with Stampin’ Blends.  You could also use your Watercolour Pencils if you liked.

The flowers have been die cut with Orchid Oasis Cardstock using the Dainty Delight Dies.  I love these little daisies as they are just that – dainty!

Be sure to watch the video as I explain how I creted this card.

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden

G’Day Friends,

Can you believe another week has flown by which means it’s time for another Caseing the Mini Catalogue.

This week is our last of this series so I do hope you have enjoyed it & gotten a lot of ideas & inspiration from our shares.

This week, we are caseing the card on Page 55 of the January-April Mini Catalogue.  I’ve just realised that it is actually on the next page to the one we did last week.  How funny is that as it wasn’t planned to happen like that.

Part of the surprise about doing our layouts is that neither  Robbie or myself know what the other is using on their project as all we have is the Sketch Layout we have created to match the card we are caseing.

If you use Letter size, then head over to Robbie’s Blog to grab her measurements – bearing in mind, they may be a completely style card to mine – while here I will have the Letter Size – Metric & Imperial – for my project.

To download your preferred layout, all you have to do is click on the images, save to your PC or print on A5 paper & save in your Sketch Layout Folder to use over & over again.

I will be the first to admit that I wasn’t too sure where my card was heading when I started out but we got there in the end.  Does that ever happen to you?

I am loving the Country Gingham DSP from the Mini Catalogue so much that I’ve just about gone through 2 packs.  In saying that, I am a huge fan of gingham so this Designer Series Paper suits me to a “T”.

What do you think of the Vellum overlay?  Doesn’t it just soften the card?  I always forget about using my Vellum until I’ve completed the project but to my amazement I’ve actually remembered for this one.Be sure to watch the video to find out!

I hope you have enjoyed my take on our Sketch Layout for Week 4.  Be sure to visit Robbie’s blog to find out what she created from the Sketch.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship

G’Day Friends,

Are you ready for a little crafting?  Well, I have a little inspiration that may help you on your way.

My inspiration for my card actually came from Page 77 of the current Mini Catalogue but I took our Sketch Layout from last Sunday & used that as well.  You can see that layout by clicking HERE.  It also includes the Measurements for A4 – Metric & Imperial.  If you click the link to Robbie’s card, she will have her measurements in Letter Size.

The background has been created with our Artistic Mix Dcorative Masks & a Blending Brush.  In saying that you could easily omit this part if you wanted.

The flowers & sentiment are from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, coloured with Stampin’ Blends & punched with the coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch.

Be sure to watch the video to see how I created my card today.

Texture Chic Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!

G’Day Friends,

I thought I would share with you another card I created using the sketch Layout from Week 1 of Caseing the Mini Catalogue with Robbie.

This Sketch Layout was taken from Page 12 of the January-April Mini Catalogue.

You can see the original project, measurements – imperial & metric – by clicking HERE.

I created this card for the female.  The original was created for the males.

The DSP layer was adhered to a piece of Basic White Cardstock prior to being adhered to a Petal Pink Base Card.

To create the background on the Basic White panel, I used one of the masks from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, Petal Pink Ink & a Blending Brush.  I am loving the soft effect, don’t you?

Look at the lovely rich Gold Distressed Paper!  It goes so well with the whole Collection.

The shells are from the Season of Chic Stamp Set, stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock with Soft Suede & Pool Party Inks prior to die cutting with the die from the Chic Dies.  The sentiment is from the same Stamp Set & stamped with Soft Suede Ink.

Here is a video on how the original card was created.
