Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Colour Combination 2

G’Day Friends,

It’s time to share with you a little more inspiration for this week’s Colour Combination of Night of Navy, Grey Granite & Coastal Cabana. The more I play with these colours, the more I am liking them.

I decided to use a piece of the Coastal Cabana DSP from the Brights 6 x 6 DSP Pack. Although, I did have a little panic as I thought I had used it all but lucky for me, up popped 1 last piece.

I then decided to try & layer 2 circles – Grey Granite has been die cut with the Deckled Circles Dies while the Basic White was punched with the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch. The border of Grey Ganite showing is very narrow but I am like just the hint of colour behind the Basic White circle.

I love the Grey Granite leave along with the Night of Navy & Coastal Cabana flowers! what do you think?

It was finished with by adding Basic Rhinestones to the centres of the flowers & then randomly scattered around the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral Bundle Colour Combination Week 4

G’Day Friends,

It’s my turn to bring you the Colour Combination this week & I’ve gone with Night of Navy, Grey Granite & Coastal Cabana. Now, I will be honest & say these colours are going to stump me & get me way out of my comfort zone but a challenge is always good for the brain, right?

I’ve been eyeing off the gorgeous Textured Floral Bundle of late, not realising I already had it sitting on my shelf. Does this happen to you? It now makes a lot of sense as I couldn’t figure out why I had this strange set of Dies hanging around lol.

I thought it the perfect time to drag out my Artistic Mix Decorative Masks so that I could create a background. I did have some sort of idea on what I wanted to do, but as always wasn’t too sure if it was gonna work.

The background was blended with the Blending Brushes using Grey Granite Ink. The leaves have been stamped with Night of Navy Ink. They actually look like they have been die cut with the matching Textured Floral Dies but no, they were stamped direct onto a layer of Basic White Cardstock & then masked off.

I am loving the pop of Coastal Cabana in the flower. I think it really pops the card, don’t you? It was finished off with 5 x Clear Rhinestones.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Colour Combination 3

Today is our last share for this week’s colour combination of Highland Heather, Lost Lagoon & Lemon Lolly.

I wanted to try something a little different today so I did a little masking. In saying that, it wasn’t what I started out to do.

It’s also been sometime since I played with the Artistically Inked Stamp Set along with the Artistic Dies. If you have sets on your shelves that haven’t seen ink for sometime, get them out & play. Inpsiration will flow while you are creating.

The little cluster of flowers background has been stamped with Highland Heather Ink while the dots have been stamped with Lost Lagoon Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle Colour Combination 2

As the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle was on my desk, I decided to try & create with the Bundle. I am loving the Hexagon Punch from this Bundle.

The Card Template I’ve created my card from will be available at the end of the week along with the PDF Tutorial for all Cards shared this week.

I love scoring lines on my cards, especially above & below DSP or even Cardstock. For some reason, it just sort of finishes the card off. To me, anyhow.

Stampin’ Up! Circle Sayings Bundle Colour Combination

G’Day Friends,

Welcome to Week 3 of sharing Colour Combinations throughout the month of October.

This week it’s all about Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon & Highland Heather. The colours are all from the Subtles Family so really match in very well together.

I thought the Circle Sayings Bundle would be a perfect place to start with this colour combintion.

Again, I’ve kept my card fairly clean & simple. I’ve actually created it from a Card Template that will be available at the end of the week.

Once the flowers were stamped with Highland Heather Ink, a spur of the moment idea hit me as to why not stamp it twice. I like the look. Mind you, I wasn’t too sure if the sentiment would fit inside but as you can see, it fits perfectly.

The Embossing Folder is one of the ones from the Basics 3D Online Exclusives. It is also my favourite from the pack of 3.
