Across the Waves Blog Hop

G’Day Friends,

Thank you so much for hopping by.  It is always very much appreciated.

Each Wednesday Robbie & myself did a little mini hop for you showcasing a particular Stamp Set or Bundle.  Well, I am happy to say that the hop has now gone worldwide.

In saying that, I am excited to say today is our very first worldwide Across the Waves Blog Hop.  On the last Wednesday of each month, a group of current Stampin’ Up Demos will be hopping along with us.  If you have arrived from Robbie‘s blog, welcome!

Our theme for April is all about the males.  As some of us find it hard to create for the males, this is the perfect way to grab ideas & inspirations for the males in your lives.

I do hope you enjoy my project this arvo.  It is a very simple one with a little bit of sponging & a little colouring.

Today I am sharing a card I created for our February Challenge over in our World Card Making Group – #WCMG.  Anyone is welcome to join us.

The challenge this month is to create with something that is new to you.  Well, I’ve not long received the lovely Blessings of Home Bundle long with the Heart & Home DSP.  Both are from the January-June Mini Catalogue.

A piece of the DSP was adhererd to a layer of Basic White before scoring 3 lines down right side with Paper Trimmer.  This was adhered to a piece of Grey Granite Cardstock before being adhered to a Gorgeous Grape Base Card.

The image was stamped in Grey Grantie onto Basic White, coloured & blended with Watercolour Pencils bfeore die cutting with the matching Flowers of Home Dies & adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped onto scrap Basic White in Grey Granite, trimmed back to size & shape & then adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To complete the card Classic Matte Dots were adhered to the card front.

Under My Umbrella

G’Day Stampers,

I haven’t been posting much in the past week or so as I have been having trouble with my internet – which meant that I had time to sit plan & design for some upcoming online classes, in person classes & projects to share with you. I also managed to clean out my craft room although I still have 1 side of the cupboard to go.

My card today is one we created in class a couple of days ago with the cute Under My Umbrella Stamp Set.

The background has been embossed with the lovely Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. This Folder is just so pretty & I do find myself using it all the time.

The Umbrella & flowers have been coloured with our Watercolour Pencils. The flowers were fussy cut while the umbrella was punched with the matching Umbrella Builder Punch.

I am loving the combination of the Embossing Folder & the Stamp Set.

October’s Stamp & Card Club is now open for subscription. This month it is all about the male with Game On being the start of the show.

Today I have a simple little card for you to try.  It is using the fun Stamp Set of Back on Back-on-Your-Feet---InsideYour Feet.  Perfect for the kids!

I’ve teamed it up with the Watercolour Pencils, along with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder to create my card.  The Base Card is Granny Apple Green.

As I mentioned it is a simple card but a clean & easy one.

Tea-Together---Close-Up

I am sharing with you a card we created in our class on Friday using the Tea Together stamp Set from the 2019 Occasions along with the Tea Time Framelits from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Both the teapot, cup & flower have been coloured & blended with the Watercolour Pencils.  Each item was coloured differently during class which is great each of them a Tea-Together---Insidevery unique card.  I must actually remember to take some photos to share with you.
