My card today is from a sketch layout that I will be using for my Create Weekly tomorrow. This happens each Monday on my YouTube Channel. This week just means you get 2 ideas for 1!

I am loving the combination of Misty Moonlight, Lemon Lime Twist & Pretty Peacock. Colours I would not normally combine but hey, it’s good to get out of comfort zone, right?

Stampin’ Up! Sending Smiles Male Card

G’Day Friends,

I have an easy, clean & simple male’s card to share with you today. Change out the colours & it can also be for the females. They layout has been taken from one of my Create Weekly Sketch Layouts.

As I was cleaning up the other day, my hand went onto the Sending Smiles Stamp Set & thought “could I create a male’s card with this set?” So I challenged myself to try & create one for Father’s Day. I like to really look at my stash to try & use them in multiple ways. Give it a try!

I love colouring our solid images with our gorgeous Stampin’ Blends. Have you tried it? You will be amazed at the result & how different they look once completed.

I will often combine the Blends & our Watercolour Pencils too. Although this time, I added a little more depth by colouring around the iages to make them look like they are floating on the card. I think it worked but you be the judge!

Let’s Go Fishing DSP #2

I’ve grabbed a few scraps of the DSP to create today’s card. It’s amazng what you can achieve with just a few scraps. What is more amazing is how your cards can turn out with just a few scraps. That bit is my favourite.

Check out that die shape. Don’t you just love it? It’s from All That Dies. I’ve been eyeing these Dies off for sometime now so am behind the 8 ball, so to speak with purchasing them. In saying that, I can now see myself using them a LOT!

The card has been created from scraps that were sitting in the pack of DSP. Love that a layout can be used over & over again by just changing out the DSP & images.
