Today’s card is an easy one but created from a layout that is one of my favourites. It is usually the first way I create when playing with new product. From memory this card was just that!

Welcome to our Inspirations in Ink December Blog Hop where we’re showcasing the gorgeous new 2024 Sale-a-Bration items.

I am loving all the lovely Designer Series Papers in the SAB Brochure but decided to go another way & have a play with the Level 2 Softly Sophisticated Bundle. It’s always a good thing to step out of your comfort zone.

The Colour Combination of Lemon Lolly, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon & Orchid Oasis makes the card look so soft & pretty. The Orchid Oasis Woven Metallic Ribbon & Pearls highlight the softness of flowers & leaves.

A piece of Basic White was embossed with the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder prior to blending Pool Party Ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

Stampin’ Up! | Cheerful Daisies 3

G’Day Friends,

This is the 3rd card I’ve created with the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set & the one created from the left over mask from last week. I just had to do something with it – couldn’t let it go to waste, lol.

To finish the card off, I went around the edge of the Basic White layer & the insid eof the sponged circle with the Pool party Stampin’ Write Markers. Our Markers can be used for so much & I will be the first to admit I don’t use them as much as I should. That may have to change a little in the new year!

I’m sharing how we created our card from our Create & Chat Class last week, although a different version. You can see the original version in the video which will be posted later on next week.

The colours used on today’s card are Lemon Lolly, Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam & Gorgeous Grape. The Cardstock is Basic White while the Base Card is Pool Party.

Stampin’ Up! Darling Details Bundle Series #3

G’Day Friends,

Today is the last day of showcasing the lovely Darling Details Bundle.

As it’s the set we are using in our Creative Kit Club for December, I thought it would be a great idea to share with you alternative ideas & inspiration for using this set/bundle. I sure hope it’s worked.

The background was created by randomly blending Daffodil Delight Ink over Basic White Cardstock with a Blending Brush prior to being embossed with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder. You could easily emboss the Cardstock first & then blend over the top of the embossing to create yet another look.

My Colour Combination today is – Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Azure Afternoon. Seems a lot of colours but I have used them sparingly. I’ve toned the bright colours down a little by adding touches of Night of Navy, ie the sentiment & Base Card.
